1. Best of both worlds .... Sherman as HC, and Jauron as Assistant HC/DC !  Then if Sam Wyche can fill the role of OC, we got something!

    If Jauron doesn't want to be assistant HC/DC, hopefully Sherman could bring Jim Bates with him.

    Lofton can become the WR coach here (since Tolbert was let go).  He can help Evans and Parrish, and keep Moulds in line.

    GO BILLS!

    I don't believe that Tolbert was let go, but I could be wrong.

  2. We have only interviewed three people that i know of Lofton Sherman and Jauron.  From what I've been hearing the decision will be or already has been made.  Doesn't anyone else think we should be interviewing more people than those three??

    If they know enough about the other candidates that allows them to come to a conclusion that Sherman & Jauron are better fits, why bother. Time is a wasting and the new HC has to put a staff together and get to the post season all-star games to begin scouting, not to mention evaluating the players on the current roster in order to determine who is staying and who is going.

  3. I want to be funny yet sometimes after I type a post and hit enter, it turns out not only wasn't it funny, it was quite stupid. It's a funny thing trying to be funny. Maybe the problem is what is funny in person, isn't funny on a message board. Maybe we should have a poll on who is good at being funny and only those posters will be allowed to humor the rest of us. Everybody else has to be dead serious when they post...no funniness, no sarcasm, no being a smarty pants, nothing!

    I'm not even sure if I'm trying to be funny with this post. Help me I'm so confused.

    <_<

  4. AI...must see TV. I can't remember who it was, but there was one person that didn't get two notes out of their mouth before Simon said to stop.

    Also, what was up with the one young blonde going off with the F bombs and giving the camera the finger. :doh:

    The good(or bad) news of the night was Paula looked sober. :doh:

    Great Great TV!!!! :doh:

  5. I hope Marv and Ralph keep interviewing every possible candidate (Tice, Martz, Fassell, Reeves, etc...) before settling. Personally, I would like to see Sherman get the job.

    Do the Bills have any future interviews scheduled,  other than Jauron and Sherman?

    Tice = Buffoon

    Martz = Putz

    Keep looking.

  6. Looking at guys like Parcells and Belichick, you hear about their coaching trees. You hear that so-and-so got his start under someone like that, only to become a successful head coach elsewhere in his own right.

    Marv was in the league for many years as a head coach. How many successful head coaches or coordinators currently in the league got their start under Marv? I don't know of any. So I'm not expecting Marv to do that great a job selecting the Bills' next head coach.

    Hey....what about Chuck Lester. :doh:

    He got his start under Marv! Okay, so he's not a HC, OC or DC, but he has developed as an asst. coach under numerous regimes and I hear his coffee making abilities have really improved over the years. :doh:

  7. Complete Sherman bio

    A big proponent of the importance of family, Sherman constantly works hard to ensure a strong sense of camaraderie within the Green Bay locker room. Fostered through such things as dodge ball tournaments and bowling events during mini-camps as well as by tongue-in-cheek videos that poke fun at players and coaches alike during the season, the Packers' tremendous harmony shows itself on the field. "You have to be able to laugh as a team - nothing creates cohesion and unity better than humor," said Sherman.

    I wonder who would be the favorite in a dodgeball game featuring Bills? Terrence McGee? First one out would be either Mike Williams or Sam Adams. :huh:

  8. Dick Jauron is actually the native son of Swampscott, Massachusetts...which is about as far east from Chicago as you can get.

    Hey, who are you to be bringing facts into the discussion. When the angry mob is out, there is no room for reason, logic or facts. Now go get some more torches. :huh:

  9. I think that a fellow wishing to get a bump into the pro ranks or a guy that is playing out the string and appreciates a paycheck for some amount of time may come here.

    Face it - Levy would like the GM/HC crown...

    571280

    I see Levy as a stop gap of 2-3 years as a GM and when a new HC is hired, you would think he would get at least the same commitment of 2-3 years. Therefore, ML's chances of being a HC again are somewhere between slim and none.

  10. These sorts of responses puzzle me. We take pride in that the Buffalo Bills have had a long tradition of sucking? We shouldn't be angry or upset that the Bills are a mess because it's happened many times before? What?

    571182

    What's puzzling. All I am saying is that there have been many other years that were far worse than 2005. Nothing more, nothing less, nothing to be read between the lines.
