Yeah, I am sure that Ralph and the other Bills officials and players think it is COOL that they are going before a grand jury. But like you said, they have Lynch's back and that is all that matters. What happens on Chippewa stays on Chippewa.

My daughter who just turned 14 has a Nokia flip phone(pretty generic phone w/camera). It is a prepaid phone and I told her I will put $25 on the phone every 6-8 weeks. She has it primarily to call us and minimal use with her friends. She was just complaining that all her friends have the latest and greatest phones from blackberrys to sidekicks to razors to iphones. I told her that as soon as she gets a job she is more than welcome to get one for herself.
I'm amazed how much parents bend when it comes to their kids.

The point people have been making in the above 62 posts about that very topic is implicit. If you have a responsible home party like that, there is MUCH LESS chance of a kid getting in a fatal car accident because he is drunk because they are drinking in a house and not in a car, where they go to drink when they don't have a house. I'm just amazed at what some people here think 18 year old kids actually do.
Where was it stated that this was a "RESPONSIBLE" home party? Did Gurtler have plans for all 40+ underage kids to stay the night? Did Gurtler get the okay of all the parents to serve alcohol to their minor children?
Furthermore, it's not what people think 18 year old kids are up to, it's what are they up to with the help of adults.

How about somebody get drunk and then killing someone leaving the party. How would you feel for all you who approve of this. Parents would be sueing Gurtler right now.
I just came across this thread and am amazed that it took 63 posts in this thread for this to be mentioned. Its good to see someone realize that Gurtler could have found himself in a HUGE heap of trouble had one of those kids got into an accident afterwards.

After the car hit the girl, the driver rolled down his window, asked if she was okay and then went speeding off.

OK, how 'bout the next time you're out at the pub and you drive home. It's not that hard to blow a .08. That's a felony, but I'm SURE that noone here does anything like that ever, right? I'm sure that everyone I see in the parking lots at RWS waits until they are sober to operate their vehicles, right?
Nobody here has ever tapped another car while parallel parking and left without leaving your information either, after all, you didn't obviously damage the car, you just tapped the bumper. Why bother with the hassle?

It's easy to be holier than thou when you know that nobody you're talking to is going to do a background check on you isn't it...
What does anyone driving drunk(your post above) have to do with another poster comparing moving traffic violations(speeding, illegal lane changes, etc...) with hit-n-run? Then you further the cause by talking about tapping bumpers with a parked car and driving away without leaving information. Once again how does this compare to a hit-n-run.
Sometimes I wonder why I post here at all.

Give me a break with that crap. He gave you a detailed, well thought out analysis of the situation based on how he views the FACTS. It's people like you on these boards, jumping to outrageous and hasty conclusions that need to pull their heads out of their a$$.
What was well thought out? All the excuses made for why it was okay to drive away from a hit and run?

The amount of posts in multiple threads referencing the fact that "she wasn't hurt seriously", so therefore what is the big deal are mind boggling. Even more ridiculous are the ones stating that "maybe the driver didn't realize they hit somebody". Do you really believe that Lynch or whomever was driving the car at the time was aware of the condition of the victim as they drove away? I don't think so. They were to busy getting the hell out of dodge.

Weren't there 3 other players in the truck as well? Also, have you ever seen Marshawn's buddies? They all have dreads, which would make it much easier to confuse him for someone else.
So first there is no difference between speeding and a hit and run and now Marshawn hangs out with nothing but stunt doubles.

My post was accurate and did not need any "fixing"! IF he is guilty and runs for 1500 yards with double digit TD's, and leads the Bills to the playoffs, will you not be cheering for that "PoS"? If he is guilty and you don't watch a minute of the Bills games this season because of it, then I applaud you. But guilty or not I will be cheering for him and the Bills along with everyone else on this board. May sound crass, but it's the truth. We can bag on these guys for doing all sorts of stupid things, but in the end we help to pay their million dollar contracts with ticket and merchandise purchases. He may never win humanitarian of the year. But if he helps the Bills win a SB, right or wrong, isn't that what it's all about....
His play on the field has nothing to do with the fact that if he is "busted" as you say, he is still a PoS off the field.

This is probably the first guy I've seen who I feel actually has out performed his current deal.

If you believe this is the first time a player is outperforming his contract, you are dreaming. I'm not even going to bother to provide examples except to say it happens all the time.
Should Peters have his contract renegotiated in the next year or two? Absolutely! Does it have to happen ASAP? I don't see what the urgent need is. Put another solid year together and then go see Brandon? He is three years removed from being a converted TE who nobody was even sure was going to make the roster. Then he got a brand spanking new contract less than two years ago. If they give him a new contract now and he makes 1st team all-pro this year, do they rip it up again?

The only reason WGR morning drive has become a joke is because of Jeremy "I'd rather try to be funny(with try being the key word) or talk about other things than sports" White. Not to mention that White is an air-time hog. It is the HOWARD SIMON SHOW, not the Howard and Jeremy show or the Jeremy White show.

Simple he had groin surgery...........Why would he be there? There is nothing for him to do there, why have him there on the sidelines and have a player come stumble into him and have him get hurt once again.

We have a big nascar following, even though we wouldnt get Nextel right away we could get a Busch race and have no problem filling it up with other races the rest of the year.
