  1. I love the kid's agility which can't be taught. A year in the program to work on his strength and he can start at left tackle in the NFL. Maybe another reason not to renegotiate Peters.

One training camp and a couple of preseason games and you are ready to say that in a year he will be ready to step in for Peters. I'm as pissed at Peters as anyone, but get real. The Bills need Peters and they need him by opening day.

  2. Just got back:

I thought you were joking until I saw your checkout list. B-)

  3. It's a lot easier not showing up for camp than it is the regular season. He'll show.

I think so too. I am pretty sure Parker is a new agent for Peters and therefore he wants a piece of the action which he will get when Peters gets a new contract, but it is clear the Bills aren't giving in and the best advice Parker can give Peters at this point is to report and then see if the Bills will talk about a renegotiated deal.

  4. The patterns of you spam posters is pretty clearly documented- fear what contradicts your own tiny little whiffs of understanding of football, and misrepresent any person's whose opinions you fear.

Now feel free you get back to another few thousand meaningless posts with no original thoughts of any kind, and keep on telling us like you are above about how the fact that not a single team in the football agreed with you idiots about taking a WR in round one "doesn't mean the talent at the position wasn't strong".

No matter the evidence, no matter the facts, just keep on spam driveling because you and the other spam drivelers actual goal appears to simply be reaching 10,000 meaningless posts before someone eles beats you to it. Good luck in your endeavor.

Original thoughts= I'm right and you are all idiots?:blink:

  5. AKC is a poster who came up with this grandiose fool-proof way of drafting. It pretty much says that all good teams draft lineman in the first two rounds, making them smart.

Yet bad teams who draft lineman early don't count, because they're not smart. And if the pick is too high it doesn't count, and if you traded up for the player it doesn't count, and current players on your roster don't count, and players aquired via FA or trade don't count. Plus good teams like Indy who don't spend many high picks on lineman don't count.

And even though he emplores the Bills would be better off drafting more lineman, he concludes that the lineman we did select don't count, because they suck. And while he thinks that teams who suck don't count, the Bills (who he thinks suck) do count (excpt for the lineman we do pick (because they suck)). B-)B-):wallbash:

    My brain hurts now...

TRAINING CAMP AWARDS: With training camp officially over here are our 2008 Training Camp Awards.

MVP - Lee Evans - He was clearly the most dominant player on the field from start to finish in camp.

MIP - Derek Schouman - His recent knee injury not withstanding, Schouman made a lot of progress with his game from year one to year two.

Best comeback - Robert Royal - Ko Simpson did well this offseason, but Royal was much further behind and has come a long way from just a couple of months ago to reclaim his game.

Most consistent - Evans, Jabari Greer, Chris Kelsay - These three players personify work ethic. They don't take a snap off, rarely ask for a lighter workload and it shows in their play.

Most elusive - Marshawn Lynch - His ability to bob and weave without losing speed is remarkable. Another strong camp for the Bills featured back.

Best hitter - Darian Barnes - While there wasn't any full live goal line team work, Barnes did lay some people out on special teams kick return drills. The Bills have themselves an old-fashioned fullback.

Most powerful - Marcus Stroud - The Bills big DT didn't get to flash his strength often in the camp setting as it's not full live football, but in one-on-one pass rush drills there was no stopping him.

Most versatile - Spencer Johnson - Johnson has lined up at both DT spots and defensive end. He's going to be even more valuable than he already is now if anyone should go down to injury on the D-line. Honorable mention to Jon Corto who moved from safety to linebacker.

Most pleasant surprise - Reggie Corner - I somewhat anticipated that Corner would hold his own in camp after watching him in OTAs, but he's been very good in the camp setting and was among the team leaders in interceptions with three. This fourth-round pick was a very, very good one.

Most inventive - Bobby April - the special teams coordinator continues to find ways to utilize every ounce of talent he has at his disposal. His use of John Wendling leaping over the lines on field goals to attempt a block is just one example.

    Nice info!

  7. relax dude. has there been one bad thing said about JP from the media, coaches, or teammates this summer - about pouting, crying, angry, pissed off he's been demoted? going through his roller coaster career thus far being starter, non-starter, starter, non starter, he has handled it better than 99% of professional athletes. Get off your high horse negging him and ML, etc. You seem to know alot about the feelings and actions of the Bills, you should go for Chris Browns job.

dude and bro in the same thread. I can't wait to start 8th grade in two weeks. Do they teach basic English in school anymore.:wallbash:

  8. He needs to speak directly to LabattBlue, so that LabattBlue can then either disregard or decipher what he says into whatever fits his agenda that day. It's all about being professional...Fans and media demand it because we ALWAYS act professionally and humanely when dealing with athletes.

    :rolleyes::wallbash:

  9. Marshawn Lynch hasn't said a word either. Is he not a professional, and is he pouting?

No, actually he is a douche bag for driving off from a hit and run who then tried to explain it away(via his attorney) several weeks later that he didn't even know he hit anyone.

  10. So being a "professional" is always lying, always saying things you don't believe, and always sucking up and playing nice to people who berated you on a daily basis last year, and now are asking questions like, "How do you feel being demoted?", "What's it like to go from starter to back-up?", "Are you requesting a trade?", "Do you want out of Buffalo as soon as you can?", "Do you feel the coaches screwed you over?"

Oh my...such tough questions to deal with while being paid $$$. Poor JP, what's a man to do.

  11. So why do you care, if you know any interview he gives will essentially be company line quotes? That makes somebody professional???

Losman never once dodged the media after a poor performance. He stood there after some of his worst games, and answered difficult questions until the reporters didn't have any more to ask. Now he's not the starter.

But here, since you seem to have missed his compelling statements, here's the vault of the missing JP Losman summer '08 interviews:

"I'm preparing as if I'll be the starter."

"You're only one play away in this league."

"Trent and I are close and I hope he does well."

"I have to accept the coach's decision and try to improve."

    Feel better?

I'd rather have him state the party line instead of pouting throughout training camp because he was demoted. I realize how difficult it is for him making 7 figures and not being able to come to grips with the fact that he had his shot and blew it.

Does he pout during film sessions also? :(

  12. Hahaha get over yourself. What's he going to say? We've seen QB controversies here in the past where both QBs spoke their mind. It doesn't help anything. JP wasn't thrilled with being the backup, but why step on Trent's toes? What does that accomplish? Keeping quiet, going about his business, and allowing Trent to be the face and voice of the offense is MORE PROFESSIONAL than giving some b.s. interview where he basically lies and says he's thrilled to be a Buffalo Bills backup. It's not written in his contract to appease you with an interview.

Get over yourself? Excellent response, giving further credence to the reason why I rarely post here anymore.

I didn't say he had to speak his mind. If he can't differentiate between what he should and shouldn't say, he is even less of a professional than what I believe.
