I can't believe Yamin is still around. It is painful to watch him and if you close your eyes and just listen, his performances all sound the same and were boring after week 1. The judges pimping him week after week, have definitely helped him.
-
It's time for Elliott to go home. The judges have been ball washig him since the beginning, but in my eyes he has always been average at best. The fan base of McFunbags, Spaz & Chris will crush Yamin. Have no fear though...Paula will tell Yamin what a great future he will have as a recording star.

What he said.
For some reason, there are some people on this board who have it in for Willis. I just do not understand it.
Let's recap:
1. Willis had the strength of character to come back from what could have been a career ending injury. I am amazed he has been able to do what he has done given my initial reaction when I saw the play.
2. Willis is the fastest Bills RB to gain 2,000 yards in his career. Faster than OJ. Faster than Thurman. Faster than anyone else. He did this behind a piss poor offensive line. He also did this even though our brilliant coaching staff took him out of games on third down so often.
3. Anyone who saw the Miami game last year and saw the expression on Willlis' face when the Dolphins won the game knows that Willis cares deeply about winning and losing. In fact, he said, when Bills were out of the playoff picture, that the players have to continue to play hard for the pride of the players and the team.
4. Instead of bitching and moaning like TH did, Willis welcomed the challenge to compete with TH.
5. Willis comes from a good family in Miami. Yet, he did not grow up in white middle class suburbia as most of us on this board probably did. Just because he does not speak like you and me does NOT mean that he is not intelligent.
6. People have questioned his commitment to the Bills and from the moment he was drafted have been predicting that he would hold out and demand more money. Has he? No. Instead, he has bought a house in Buffalo.
7. Willis did not show up yesterday for a VOLUNTARY work out. Neither did London Fletcher, Troy Vincent, and others. Have there been other posts today dissing Fletcher or Vincent as punks etc. Of course not.
8. It appears that there are some on the board who have it in for Willis for reasons that have nothing to do with what he has done on the field. My guess is that it is some anti-Cane bias on their part. I also have seen the same thing when people go out of their way to criticize Roscoe Parrish.
9. I have a lot of concerns about the Bills. Willis is not one of them. I would love to see the offensive line and QB (whoever it might be) show as much as Willis has in the two years he has been playing with the Bills. If they did, we would have a very good offense.
Now that's a ball washing that Joe Theismann would be proud of. He may use some of your material if the Bills ever make it back onto primetime.

Not when your brand-new coaching staff is trying to install a brand-new offense.
For the record, I had the same reaction when Travis skipped one of Mularkey's first minicamps two years ago. As with Henry, I'm not worried about McGahee showing up for training camp out of shape -- that's never been a problem with either player. But I'd rather not see WMcG wait until training camp to start getting some reps in Fairchild's offense, either.
AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN!!!

Last time I looked WM finished the year at #10 in terms of rushing yards and he was 250 yards behind the RB who was ranked fifth. I'm not sure where you came up with #5?

I pulled this off another fan site earlier today. Not sure if it has been posted before. If you are with Time Warner or Adelphia you can link to the site below and enter your pertinent information and it will send a letter to your local cable provider.
The good news is that Adelphia here in WNY carries the NFL network. The bad news....Adelphia here in WNY is about to be taken over by Time Warner.

No review from JohnnyC this week?
Spaz was GREAT! Elliott goes next week and then it's a tough call as to which way the winds blow from the fans perspective...Spaz, Chris or McFunbags? In then end as much as I would love to see Spaz as the next AI, I think it will be Chris.

Our DEFENSE is solid now. I know we may have not made the most popular picks with a lot of people, but we drafted quality players on Day 1.
Here is what we have (in terms of Starters) as of the end of Day 1 of the draft:
DEFENSE
DE - Kelsay: Here is a guy that did show improvement last year. I thought we would get a little more out of him last year than we did after watching training camp and the preseason, but he really started to improve last year. Besides, he really didn't have any help in the middle last year. This year, with Tripplet and McCargo, we got 2 guys that are quick and can create a new line of scrimmage. This will in turn help Kelsay progress nicely. He is not an All-Pro, probably never will be, but I like the fit for this defense.
I disagree on Kelsay completely. I thought he would step up last year after a promising rookie campaign. Instead he was invisible for the majority of the season.

huge buckeye fan here! But I have never been impressed with Whitner.. He is good and solid.. but not game changing.. he will be good.... with luck have a carreer like henry jones.... don't expect anything more!
To take him at 8 just amazes me... He is not that good... Whitner does not have that much upside!
oh well..
go bucks!
Thanks. I feel better now.

It's okay that he was the #1 pick of the Bills...just not as the # friggin' 8 overall pick.
I walked away from the TV because I didn't want to hear anyone ridicule the bills for taking this guy WAY TOO HIGH!!!
I want the fyou smiley and I want it now!!!!

What is with the Elliott love fest from the judges? Am I missing something? Is he really as good as the judges say he is?
I think he's good, but not that good. He's been middle of the pack in this competition to me, and I think it's only a matter of time.
Also, why were the judges putting the hate on Katharine so much? She was great tonight. Oh well, she's safe anyway.
I'm with you on this one. Elliott is okay, but not deserving of the praise they give him week after week. I also thought Katherine was good and not deserving of the criticism they gave her last night...but then again, I might have been distracted while she was singing.

Anybody but Daughtry & McFunbags as the final two would be a letdown.
BTW...I am the only one who feels that the theme nights suck this year? Kenny Rogers, Rod Stewart(singing old songs), Bocelli, Barry Manilow? Pick up the tempo and give Spaz something to get excited about...
50's night(The Twist)
Beatles night(Helter Skelter)
Stones night(Jumpin' Jack Flash)
Buddy Holly night(Rave On)
Now Spaz doing these songs would be "must see TV".

I agree about naming it Google Stadium where the slogan would be...

Spaz & McFunbags should make for an interesting final(especially if Paula is drunk or high again ). Yamin needs to go home. He is boring beyond belief and will make for a lackluster finale.
Like the slip that someone had a couple of weeks ago, I had to watch myself several times, as the urge to to use the term "McFunbags" as I watch with my wife and daughter is great.
