  1. not my claim at all
  2. Yup, if the 2 were switched and Smith was in Buffalo, the Bills would be in the playoffs the past 2 years.
  3. Kinda like TT I'd take Bortles in a heartbeat wouldn't even think twice about it.
  4. With the Bills running game, all they need is a QB that throws for a modest 20-23 TDs and 3000-3500 yards to equal Tyrod. I don't think that is really that hard to find and improve on. Not advocating for him but heck, Fitz did that 3 times without the historic #1 running game when he was here. This running game opens up the passing game so much it is a shame Tyrod didn't have the capability to take advantage of it. This offense was ranked #7 from what some have said, it was due to the rushing game mainly, imagine if the passing game was ranked, say #12. Had that happened this offense might have been unstoppable and averaged more than the Falcons 33ppg.
  5. Muay Thai preach on all knowing, preach on smh
  6. Not a fan of TT or EJ but god no I don't want to see Hoyer. I'd like to trade for N Foles.
  7. No playoffs for 17th year!
  8. Hmmm... if Sammy thinks this about his ex coach, wonder what he thinks of the QB that doesn't get him the ball.
  9. That kind sounds like Lynn won't be the HC next year either. I can see the Bills relieving all of Rex's coaches monday.
  10. Bottom line is if they think a player is good, a contract injury clause wouldn't be forced on a player to sit. For a good player, a team would take that chance and let him play and not be worried about paying or be tied up for 2 more years. All things the same, would, say Oakland make Carr sit? or Indy make Luck sit? or Dallas make Prescott sit? No way.
  11. There you go, bye bye Tyrod.
  12. Of course this is how someone would see it when you don't think TT is an issue. Because if TT wasn't an issue and they really want to keep him and keep Lynn and keep continuity then TT would be playing sunday. He isn't therefor it really isn't simple.
  13. Would be like when Rex came in and Schwartz was the D man. Coaches make strange decisions about other coaches.
  14. But it is, it's about avoiding being tied to the injury clause and then renegotiating because they didn't allow him to play. If they were cool with his contract, he would be playing sunday. and the new coach thing is strictly your opinion. I don't think they want to keep him.
  15. $15.5m roster bonus and $12m salary What do you renegotiate there? Do you go, yeah Tyrod were going to renegotiate your bonus from the $15.5m you already agreed to down to $7.75m for just being on the roster or do you renegotiate the very middling to low end $12m salary for a starting QB down to $6m? What's getting renegotiated?
  16. I think if the Bills had made their mind up and had thoughts of keeping Tyrod at his middling contract then what would it have mattered if he played and got injured, right? If they were interested in keeping him and paying him right? If they want to renegotiate, what do they renegotiate to? A bottom tier QB salary? He's scheduled to be paid middling money next year. I don't think it makes any sense that the Bills did this just to renegotiate. I don't think have any want to keep him at all and have no interest in paying anything more past sunday.
  17. It was the second guy on the grassy knoll.
  18. Go check out Mia, Dal, SF, Tenn pass and rush and remember Buf rushing set records. Yup, and three quarters of all that was because the record setting rush attack. Pass game was pathetic.
  19. A different spin says a top half passing attack with this defense gets an 11-5 record. Just because TT may have been the best here since Flutie doesn't mean he is a good QB. He's just the best of a bad bunch. I don't think it would be difficult at all to improve the passing attack with a different QB. This historic rushing attack should have made things so easy for Tyrod to get massive amount of yards and points yet it was so painful to watch the passing offense struggle so mightily week in and week out, then watch the All 22 each week have WR running free EVERYWHERE all game. Any QB who can read a defense would have flourished on this team this year and Buffalo had the one guy who couldn't. Go figure, he was Rex hand picked guy, did Rex do anything right?
  20. and where has the lack of turnovers gotten Tyrod? 7 wins against crap teams. Yay sign me up. From a different thread So, Ben has 13, Eli has 16, Tannehill 12 this year and they're going to the playoffs, Newton had 10 last year and went to the SB, A Smith has had 14 the past 2 years and gone to playoffs both years. Int are no big deal unless they are ill timed or the QB throws a whole ton of them. Anywhere between 5-15 is no big deal IMO.
  21. The Bills did run a ****ty QB out there. Because of the historic rushing attack, I think any QB would be fairly successful in Buffalo. They won in spite of Tyrod not because of him.
  22. Ok we disagree as I think they want to move on from him. To keep him, Tyrod also has to want to stay. From everything I have read from all the pro Tyroders, there will be a bidding war for his services should the Bills cut bait. I don't think so, we shall see.
