  1. I know from researching my family tree that there is a better than likely chance I am part American Indian, but I don't really advertise it because I have no need to, I don't need to tell people I'm part Swedish either, the Irish is kind of out of the bag due to my name and all
  2. 2007 and to a lesser extent 2012 showed what he could do offensively given tier one talent, but part of what makes Brady great is that he can produce at a top level without tier one talent around him letting resources be spent on defense to improve the team as a whole
  3. I don't think the natives are oppressed anymore for the most part, they have special legal protections and run tax free businesses
  4. I used to feel the way you did till I talked with an American Indian and he told me he grew up on a reservation and their high school mascot was the redskins and none of them found it offensive, interestingly enough a lot of them find the term natives offensive because it makes them sound primitive.
  5. This has nothing to do with news, I live outside of Boston, I went to school in Boston. I know it first hand.
  6. His prior HC gig with Cleveland they improved every year, made the playoffs and won a playoff game, the next season they were in a position to contend and Modell announced the team was moving and they're record plummeted for obvious reasons. Belichick was the last HC to win a playoff game for Cleveland to this day, Ozzie Newsome has credited much of the success in Baltimore to the foundation built in Cleveland. Belichick was also probably the main driving force behind the two Superbowl wins in NY when he was the DC, his game plan against the Bills is in the hall of fame, he was also the Assistant Head Coach when NE won the AFC and made it to the Superbowl against the Packers. No denying that Brady is an all time great QB, but without Belichick there is a chance he never makes it in the NFL, NE was the only team to contact Michigan coaches about him, and Belichick made the call to carry 4 QBs his first year because he saw potential in Brady.
  7. His right not to go, I'm still a little pissed that a bunch of liberals who aren't even hockey fans ran Tim Thomas out of Boston for having the gall to not attend because he disagreed with his policies.
  8. The Brady era will eventually end, no denying that as much as I would like to. What goes in his favor is that his first year in the league was as a backup, so there is an extra full season left of tread on his tires relative to his years in the league. Brady's game has always been based more on his mental ability rather than athletic ability, so in that regard aging won't hurt him as much, the big issue will be unforeseen injuries, it is much easier to come back from injury at a younger age. Last year Brady dealt with injures to 3 of his top 4 WRs and his all-pro TE, while his other former TE is rotting in prison because he decided to go postal. I'm going to set aside the Welker leaving because Edelman took over quite nicely. Realistically Brady probably has three years left at a very high level, we just drafted Garrapolo, and he was the highest we have taken a QB since we took Bledsoe 1st overall two decades ago. NE has been fortunate to have 3 starting QBs over that time span and all 3 have made pro-bowls.
  9. DE Jackson Jeffcoat Big XII DPOY didn't get drafted, he has credentials just as good as Sam but isn't gay.
  10. the tone of the dress changes, at first glance his hand looks off of it but if you look closer it's on
  11. The whole Euro league lost almost $20 million a year, that's lass than what Joe Flacco makes in a year, from a player development aspect, each NFL team can pony up $625,000 in my opinion, not to mention airing it in the US, the NFL can really tap into the spring/early summer TV market, especially with the NFL network as another poster mentioned. I say bring it back. Make 8 teams, one made up of all AFC East, West, North, South and NFC East, West, North, South.
  12. Probably the best LB against the run in the NFL, liability in the passing game. He probably won't be back with NE next year with Mayo, Hightower and Collins projected to start.
  13. Gronk also received a concussion on that, it wasn't an illegal hit, it's what players are forced into doing by idiotic rules
  14. The refs weren't calling anything that game either side, texans had two penalties all game also Brady's "IG" that wasn't called landed at vereens feet, all QBs ground it into the feet of RBs who are blocking
  15. It was fixed in favor of the browns, but they didnt want to change the outcome of the game, so they gave a makeup call to the pats to deflect suspicion
  16. I wholely agree it should have been at the five, I've seen that call called against NE though so even though it was sort of tick tack its still PI. The onside kick hit a brown first
  17. The pats have a safety that was on the us national rugby team, mostly plays st
  18. Pats center Dan Koppen always used to keep a dummy set of pads in his locker and use a second set for the game when he played on the road, it's not surprising players are suspicious of any other team
  19. http://www.nfl.com/rulebook/ball Twelve (12) new footballs, sealed in a special box and shipped by the manufacturer, will be opened in the officials’ locker room two hours prior to the starting time of the game. These balls are to be specially marked with the letter "k" and used exclusively for the kicking game.
  20. I think the second week back after the bye is a better advantage
  21. how about the literal **** flowing through the main concourse
  22. Wow, talk about disrespect. I hope the Bills kick the **** out of the Jest. Go Buffalo!
