  1. I'll take Paul Lynde in the center square to block.
  2. Anybody who believes in any of the crap on that list is totally nuts. I celebrate Halloween like a normal person.... ....waiting for the Great Pumpkin.
  3. It's just been announced that the two presidential candidates plan to suspend their campaigns so they can get to Washington to fix this national crisis. "Now is a time to come together -- Democrats and Republicans -- in a spirit of cooperation for the sake of the American people" said John McCain in a statement released this morning. "It's my belief that this is exactly the time when the American people need to hear from the person will be the next president," the Democrat said in Clearwater, Florida. "It is going to be part of the president's job to deal with more than one thing at once. It's more important than ever to present ourselves to the American people." Barack Obama told reporters at a rally in Ohio, "If there were ever a time for both candidates to hold a debate before the American people about this serious challenge, it is now," he added. 4. They're gonna have a much more productive day than you will.
  5. Where's Rosen when you need him?
  6. I did a search for the word Wilfork and it didn't come up. Then, I closed the browser tab immediately.
  7. More Enter key please. PS - Welcome!
  8. See now this befuddles me because to the Average Joe it seems like the most obvious things that Obama could do is to legislate for stricter gun control and an increased funding to social programs to keep people out of trouble and off the street. These are two things that Repubs would typically not support. So what are some example of things that Repubs would approve of that Obama (or Durbin or Jackson) should do at the Federal level to fix the problem? Send in the military?
  9. That is certainly sad if true. But I'll ask again..is it a state Senator's (or the PotUSA) job to control the crime rate of a major city?
  10. Serious question. Is it the responsibility of a state Senator (or the PotUSA) to control the murder rate in a major city? I just want to make sure we're blaming the right guy here.
  11. I'm not disagreeing, I'm just skeptical that he'll be around to collect.
  12. I'm pretty sure the last thing a 90 year old guy needs is an installment plan.
  13. I hope like hell this is true. Not because I want "The Big O" to get the accolades, but because I don't want to see things get much worse. I'm not prepared to root for failure. This scenario wouldn't be different no matter which guy got elected. It seems like you just wish it was your guy (or at least not this guy).
  14. If this is the Right way, then I'm proudly Left.
  15. Has this guy done anything on an NFL field to warrant any attention? He had a few TDs during his rookie season after that all his highlights involve him on crutches. Even this year, the first notable thing he's done all season was get yanked out of a game by his coach. Pass.
  16. For the most part it's a cakewalk, but other than the Cleveland game it's basically the same as Buffalo's.
  17. They did go to Hardy once in (or near) the red zone on that drive. I had a bigger problem with them using Jackson on every down instead of Lynch.
  18. Got 30 minutes and like to laugh? It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Who Pooped the Bed? (full episode)
  19. You know how I know when my beer is drinkable? The label turns blue when it gets cold! Thank god they don't make me think or else I might actually choose something worth drinking.
  20. Depends on how you define "works." Sure people are talking about it (negatively). But is it really selling any cars?
  21. This is one instance where Darwin doesn't apply. It should be the parent that got shot.
  22. But with that commercial, at least you get a second to change the channel. The Toyota commercial just slams you in the face immediately with SAVED BY ZERO!!!!! and then you become too disoriented to act fast enough to save yourself.
  23. Why does the scene from Blazing Saddles where the new Sheriff rides into town keep popping into my head? "As chairman of the welcoming committee, it's a pleasure to present a laurel and hearty handshake ...." Pretty sad.
  24. I got dragged into the misery of this commercial during last week's MNF game. Sometimes they ran it twice during the same break! I can't hit the mute button fast enough.
  25. I'm talking specifically about the wildcat formation. They did better with it than I think they should have.
