Revolting is exactly what Paterson wants us to do. He's an intelligent guy. When the elected officials take enough hell from their constituents about all these crazy taxes, then the officials will finally see that they need to DO SOMETHING the next time Paterson tells them to figure out ways to make cuts. Last time the NYS Legislature convened with explicit instructions to reduce waste and make cuts, they did little more than sit around thinking about Thanksgiving turkey. My problem with the whole thing is that many economists feel that during recessions, the need to decrease the deficit is not nearly as important as stimulating growth and avoiding stagnation. This proposal seems to be all about the deficit and I'm not sure this is the best time for that. It will be interesting to see how much of this budget goes through in the end.

Not the way I'd hope to finish the season, but at this point it makes little sense to continue with JP. Give Hamdan a shot.

Of course I want them to meet my demand. If they don't, then I buy from someone who will. This is the way it works. Some companies are better at adjusting to market demand. Some sit stagnant and wait for the market to come to them. Some need bailing out. FWIW, I don't give two sh#ts about the turbo. I just want a good car. The Countour was an econo-box when they made it in US and the Mondeo (which continues to thrive in Europe) is now a really nice car. I can't speak for others, but yeah it's worse than usual for me. I can tell because I'm not angry about it or looking for causes and solutions. I'm not looking to see who next years free agents are, or imagining any college prospects donning the red, white and blue during their first press conference at One Bills Drive. I'm not even debating with other posters about the team. I can barely make myself interested enough to read and click the thread titles. I just don't care. It's weird for me because usually I do care. I'll usually watch the meaningless games anyway and try to understand why the season went wrong. This is where I begin to rationalize and gain hope for the next season. But I have very, very little hope right now. And why should I?
