  1. I don't listen to Schopp, but wouldn't you think that he was on drugs if he went on the air and accurately described last year's draft on the Monday before it happened? "I'm just spitballin' here, but I predict the Bills will draft two cornerbacks in the first four rounds (three DBs overall) and will pretty much ignore a big need by waiting until the fourth round to draft a blocking TE. Yes, a blocking TE. They will also draft a third string running back in the sixth round and won't address the offensive line until the seventh round where they will probably select the illegitimate son of a former NBA player." Truth is sometimes stranger than fiction.
  2. Whaa? Is this for real?
  3. Well, I don't feel like waiting 2-3 years to B word about it.
  4. Valid concern...I'm eager to see how they pull this off.
  5. MattyT HB Oswego State Age: 34 5' 8" 180 lbs. 6.1 40yd 18" vert 5.5" broad PRO Surprisingly agile for a guy with a "paunch." Has never played organized football, but ruled the street game. Outstanding ball carrier....Matt takes them both with him everywhere he goes and they've only dropped once. Hits (donut) holes hard. Doesn't whine too much. An accomplished athlete, having won both a whistling contest and a bicycle rodeo while in Cub Scouts. CON Constantly distracted by cheerleaders. Water bottle frequently confiscated by officials because it smells of malt liquor. High school shop teacher has gone on record to say that "Matt has potential but does not always apply himself." Typically takes him 10-15 minutes to get up after being hit. May be better suited in an NFL Front Office as a road scout...sent ahead of the real scouts to find the best bars and restaurants. SUMMARY Has unlimited potential to live up to his billing as an average white guy living in the suburbs. PROJECTION Will buy the 2nd round.

  11. Great post...thank you! When you say... ...if Somalia has no functioning govt, then who is enforcing this...the UN?
  12. I'm wondering if having the shipping companies hire Black Water type security companies to ride along with these ships would be more cost effective than paying hundreds of thousands of dollars in ransom.
  13. Some recent info here... http://gadgetwise.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/0...rss&emc=rss http://gadgetwise.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/0...a-numbers-game/ If you're going to run Windows on it too... http://gadgetwise.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/0...ndows-on-a-mac/
  14. I'll say one thing...you don't eff around. That's a premium Mac setup for sure....especially for your first go-around. Can't wait to see what you do for an encore when the bug really gets you. OTOH, I hope you hate it and want to sell it to me for a discount. Enjoy your sweet rig.
  15. I don't know if this is mentioned in either link, but TW is already starting to succumb to consumer pressure. http://www.democratandchronicle.com/apps/p...D=2009904110327
  16. Weird, but when I say F'burg in the sub-title, the word that popped into my head immediately was F#ckburg.
  17. If you hear the audio, the interviewer was very professional. He wasn't one of those fart-noise morning DJs. He didn't try to goad him. BB clearly wanted to pick a fight at the mere mention of what he's best known for and because the DJ referred to music as BB's "passion." Bottom line though, is that the dude's band would have never been given media coverage if BB wasn't a famous actor and for BB to pretend like that isn't the case is douche-baggery. He can pound sand if he doesn't like it.
  18. This is the only part I agree with you on.
  19. This. Plus I'll lighten up on the FO when the Bills make the playoffs.
  20. Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.
  21. I like living in Rochester, but then again I have a job and have never experienced anything but high taxes, so I have nothing to compare to.
