Brutal! "Boom goes the dynamite" indeed.

You know this really pisses me off, you "high and mighty" Bills fans talking about how great the rivalry is, and how poor Fins fans are because we are looking forward to the Pats game more that others. Yet, on this very board, the same poll was taken asking what home game you most look forward to and the Dolphins game is 4th! And Denver, a non-conference game, is first. Real good there, hypocrites.
And yes, I remember Parmalee, Webb, Duper... and Clayton, Fryar, Offerdahl, Even Mercury Morris, Jake Scott, and the original Killer Bs and No Name Defense. Im sorry, you just really set me off this time with the poll.
Yeah, but you should check out some of the vitriolic haiku that shows up here during fish week.

This will most likely be the first home opener since 1989 that I will not attend.

I only got a cell phone about a year and a half ago. I just found it to be an uneccessary cost for me personally. Only when my wife became pregnant did she finally convince me that it might be a good idea to have one. Now I get grief from people because my phone is an older model. I weep as well....

Our son is being baptized in the Catholic church next month. I just attended the baptism class last week and they made it a point that there was no "fee" for this at our parish, but if we wanted to make a voluntary donation it would be up to us. We were married in Buffalo and at that church we did have to give money. So for catholics at least it apparently depends on the the parish / diocese.

A good friend of mine had free tickets in his fathers company suite for that game and still didn't go. He was convinced after seeing the previous week that the Bills were done for, so there was a lot of apathy amongst Bills fans and thus the non-sellout . I will never let him live that one down though. I fully admit that I wanted to leave at 35-3, but my Dad thankfully talked me out of it.

HONG KONG - Doctors have removed a 5cm bloodsucking leech from the nose of a Hong Kong woman, a news report said on Friday.
The leech is believed to have entered the 55-year-old woman’s nose and lived there for three weeks after she washed her face in a freshwater stream infected with leeches while hiking.
She began suffering from nose bleeds and blockages but a private doctor who examined her failed to spot the leech, the South China Morning Post reported.
The woman went to an accident and emergency unit when the nose bleeds continued and the leech slid out of her nose then crawled back in while she was being examined, the newspaper said.
Doctors eventually removed the leech by applying anaesthetic to her nose which made the leech go rigid. It was pulled off with forceps.
Dr. Ron Mexico, who treated the woman, said the leech could have dug deeper into her nose and even carried on into her lungs if it had not been removed.

Dude, watched that show Eating across America, or something like that, the other night when they featured the chicken wing festival. Swear to god the host of the show had on the Bills Zubas. Maybe you can email the show and find out where he got them.
I will echo the earlier sentiment that why in gods name you would want them. My wife and I cracked up when we saw them on that guy
The funny thing is, he wasn't wearing the zubaz in the Buffalo wing festival segment. He was somewhere totally unrelated. WTF?

Brutal then. Really brutal now.
A few years ago (2000-ish) one of our friends showed up at a tailgate wearing zubaz. We pantsed him and burned them right on the spot.

Gene: Can I just say one thing? I'm standing here, staring at Ron Mexico! And if Ron Mexico wants more cowbell, we should probably give him more cowbell! And, Bobby, you are right - I am being selfish. But the last time I checked, we don't HAVE a whole lot of songs that feature the cowbell.
Ron Mexico: I gotta have more cowbell, baby!

What the heck was up with the host wearing the zubaz pants during the first segment?

1976 vs. Baltimore. I was five. The only thing I remember is my Dad pointing out OJ to me.

They typically give the first week of the season for free as a promotion.

Happy birthday to the future brewmaster!

I'd love nothing more than to see the Pats turn to sh--, however until I see some evidence on the field of their demise there is no reason to believe that they won't get the job done with smoke and mirrors yet again.

1990 Bills- best team in the NFL for 5 months.
1990 Giants - best team for one game.
If you learned nothing else from last year and the beating you ended up taking please let it be that it is October when champions are made.
