Maher and Piers are exactly right. You want to help bridge the deep political chasm in this country? Then talk to people from the other side, who also wish to talk in good faith, live and in person. There's zero chance of bridging that divide online, and certainly not here in the cesspool, which is precisely why I use the ignore feature so liberally. -
