    Same on both accounts.
     

    I know he can be a little wild, but when was the last time we had a guy with his vision/passing ability, if ever?

    I don't listen to Eric Wood's podcast much, but I caught the most recent episode he had with Ryan Fitzpatrick, and they shared some old Doug Marrone stories, talked about how much of ***** he was. Wood said he was growing his hair out once and Marrone told him he looked like an idiot and to get it cut. Fitz also talked about his one meeting with Marrone in Buffalo right before he got cut. Said Marrone was hyping him up talking about how excited they were Fitz was already in Buffalo. Fitz said he never spoke to him again after that but did bump into him in an elevator this year. Wood shared another story about how after the loss to the Jaguars in the playoffs Marrone came up to him saying he would contact him about something they had never discussed before. Just seems to be a pattern of awkward encounters with Marrone every where. 

     

     


    I knew a guy who was best friends with one of the bills linemen on the team at the time. He would relay these same kinds of stories. All the players really tired of his tough guy stuff, which mostly was pointless.

    I really hope our line can cause enough pressure to disrupt the passing game, but we all know Mahomes is capable of great plays on the run.

     

    I really don't want to be 0-3 against this team in the playoffs


    The only guy I am worried about missing is TJ, And hopefully he will play.

     

    But have some confidence in McD!

    The guy has proven to be a defensive genius this year, especially with the injuries he has been dealt.

    Agreed 31 is very good. It just seems out OC isn't as good at 2nd half adjustments.  


    Considering just the Steelers game, we only punted once in the second half. That too was probably only because Knox dropped a wide open pass, and Josh took a weirdly bad sack, so we were sitting at like 3rd and 17. 
     

    I really think if you want to pinpoint the main issue it’s that the players need to come out of halftime with more focus and energy and urgency. Start as fast as you do at the beginning of the game.

    I think a lot of that though is execution. Dropped ball, bad sack, bad penalty, etc.
     

    I think the plays are there, but mistakes have tended to derail some of our second half drives.

    agree. I would put money on the Niners not making it to the Super Bowl. Teams like that have to play from ahead and pretty much error free. If another team can get out in front, it is over for them. 
     

    they are a great team, but not built to win a super bowl.

    agreed. I think we need to keep contain on the edge and collapse the pocket from inside. But even then, he can step up and juke out a spy or make some insane throw.

    Josh is absolutely going to light the chiefs up. Their defensive game plan is based on all those disguised pressures, and in arrowhead, Josh is constantly dealing with the noise in trying to get to the right plays and projections. Won’t have any of those issues this week.

    I believe he is on his way. He just takes those giant slow strides, So it is taking him a while.
