  1. Josh hasn’t been his usual accurate self. I think something is going on with the shoulder.
  2. Would be great if we got a turnover for once.
  3. You have to tackle Ekeler. He is so Slippery.
  4. Coming into this game, I said this was going to be a “get right” game for Gabe.
  5. Poorly played! I told mine this was going to be the most important game of the year. (And she said, “you say that about every game.”).
  6. every opposing punter has some record type of stat. I guess this guy is hang time. It’s unreal.
  7. Josh is super off. Not sure what is going on.
  8. I just pray this game ends well before 8 pm so there is no issue with peacock.
  9. I am in the fantasy playoffs and forgot to remove Pickens from my starting lineup before this game. A festivus miracle!! actually, looks like I can rewind on my phone. Just not on my TV.
  10. unreal. we were chanting “here we go, Steelers” just now!
  11. So we have to watch this live like it is 1995? Give me a break.
  12. I posted this in the peacock thread. But has anyone been able to pause or rewind on peacock? I have not yet.
  13. I am watching the Steelers pre-game and it won’t let me pause or rewind. so I am guessing that there is no way to do that during the game tonight? That would really stink.
  14. Don’t disagree with you. But I don’t think teams like the Niners and Ravens are built really well to go all the way. if they run into a hot QB in the playoffs, then they are dead. That’s why I still think the chiefs, Bills, and Cowboys are the most dangerous teams if their QBs get hot.
  15. I still remember when we signed him as an undrafted free agent. Lot of folks on this board— me included— were beyond thrilled. I think a lot of us predicted his huge upside, though not to this extent. I also will never forget that blocked punt and TD he had against Cincy. Just an unreal play. Wish they could have worked something out with his contract and paid him his market value when he blossomed into a LT. Oh well.
  16. thankfully I ended up starting Nacua too! Re swift and Montgomery, I wouldn’t over think it. Both guys are probably going to get 15 touches, and whether they score is a total fluke. I suspect they will come out about the same in the end. in the playoffs, I do like to look for higher ceiling players. So if you went with that theory, I think swift has the better chance at breaking out.
  17. I was just going to say to go with swift and smith over Nacua, but I see Nacua just scored a TD! So guess I was wrong. what did you do?
  18. my big symptom with Covid (July 2022 strain) was night sweats. I had to change my clothes at least once and sometimes twice in the middle of the night. Was awful. Hang in there!!
  19. Also from the mind of Peter King: If I'm New England Patriots owner Bob Kraft, I have to say no to Bill Belichick now, hire Tom Donahoe to run the football side of business, and get on with my life. Because if I'm Bob Kraft, this is the thought process going through my mind today as the Jets stonewall my compensation offer for Belichick and refuse to budge from their demand of New England's first-round draft choice in April's draft: I am willing to give a man with a coaching record of 37-45 full authority over all my football operations by naming him coach and general manager. I am willing to pay him in excess of $3 million a year. And now I have to throw in my first-round pick? I'm already without my fourth-round pick this year, and I'm sure to lose a couple of valued players like Tedy Bruschi and Shawn Jefferson in free agency. Now I have to throw in the pick that could become Ron Dayne and may solve our dilemma at running back for the next five years? Maybe I wait a couple more days for the Jets to budge. Assuming they don't, I get on with my life. https://web.archive.org/web/20020208020725/http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com:80/inside_game/peter_king/news/2000/01/26/ten_things/
