My vote is for Tom Day. Hell of a guy. -
The new item all Libitards should have.

Would we have to put him on suicide watch? -

I wouldn't have a problem with it if she didn't wear that ring. It created a loud "tap" that distracted me from her performance. -

Is it just me, or does Jessica's face look like Courtney Love? I predict Carrie and Nadia as the final two ladies. Vonzell will get robbed somewhere along the way. Lindsey will go before Amanda, but Amanda will not be far behind. Someone needs to tell Amanda to not wear a ring if she is going to tap the microphone. That was friggin annoying last night. -

I agree. Mikalah was awful and deserves to get booted. Janay has been bad for several weeks and I am suprised she has lasted this long. There is no question that she needs to go tonight as well. -
You are assuming that he pulls his .38 and points it at me before I pull my .40 and pull the trigger.

All I am doing is moving the cart back to where it was. If the guy wants to pick a fight over that, so be it.

No question: Option A. People do stuff like this because they know that people will wuss out and never call them on it. They will continue to do stuff like this until someone stands up. Don't allow people to walk all over you.

This is what happens when you have a bloated bureaucracy. They spend money on things like patronage instead of more essential services like cops. Again, raising taxes is not the answer. It solves nothing and all it does is hurt the people.
-
You are going to get ripped. You should pressure your legislators to cut spending, not increase taxes. You do not solve problems by increasing taxes.

I see Scott going this week instead of Constantine. Constantine has the look to keep him around another week. Scott does not have it. Even though Scott was better, I think he will be gone. -

I agree. They were both the worst of the bunch. -

Constantine is a walking cliche. I have no idea what the judges were thinking when they gave him his critique. IMO, he was terrible last night and hopefully will be gone this week. Bo is the real deal and Anwar was awsome. -
Funny. I thought 100K was "rich." At least that is what I heard this last election. These people need to figure out this class warfare thingy. They seem confused.

I support privatization of SS. The government has proven that they cannot effectively manage my money. I want it out of their hands and into mine. In the mean time, you need to do something. As usual, people feel that since bankruptcy won't happen tomorrow, that they do not need to act now. WRONG. With how slow government works and with the sweeping changes necessary, it will take until then for meaningful results to occur. You need to take action now, while you still have a chance. 1) You need to raise the retirement age. People will cry foul, but oh well. People are living longer now and you need to adjust for the increase in life expectancy. That is one of the reasons that it is in financial crisis (that and our elected representatives stealing money to pay for their pet projects). Raising the retirement age will reduce the need to cut benefits. 2) As mentioned previously, you need to privatize SS. You can use a graduated scale to account for the amount already paid into the system. People close to retirement will not have the accounts, but the people just entering the workforce start the accounts immediately with no SS. By the time this younger generation retires, SS will be a thing of the past. The Dems do not want changes to happen because they want to take credit for them. Right now, any meaningful changes will be credited to the Republicans since they control both houses and the Executive branch. They seem to be purposely stonewalling any change. I have noticed in recent interviews with Dems that they really have no solution. They just know that they do not like the President’s solution even though he has not presented it to them yet. I see the Dems filibustering any legislation that is brought to the floor for a vote and I see the Reps doing everything they can to push something through before Bush leaves office.

The populus is to apathetic and the politicians crave too much power. Bad mix. As far as the usernames, at least this week you expanded your horizons out of the Founding Father era. How is the book coming along? Last I knew, you finished about 150 pages, which should cover the introduction and maybe chapter 1.

She took things a lot farther then Bren did when he was PM. She absolutely refused to make decisions. Hell, she couldn't even figure out what needed to be done in order to assign tasks. It was nice to see Caroline back.

Could you stick to one user name per week, please? Darin's idea would definitely work to teach people how much they are paying in taxes. Right now, people overlook that part of their paycheck and just look at the total. If more people paid attention to this part of their check stub, I think you would see more people bitching about government spending. The problem arises in implimentation of that type of tax system. You will continually see budget shortfalls because people are not paying their taxes along with increasing the size of the federal government in order to track these people down.

It really pisses me off. Women work their azzes of to be treated equally, to fight to be accepted for their qualifications instead of their looks and to gain respect in the workplace. Then you get an idiot like this who on the one hand cries about how hard she had to work to get where she is only to throw all that away on comments like "well, at least Mr. Trump thought I was beautiful, and that is what matters." NO, what matters is if he thought you were a good leader. She had no ability to lead. As was mentioned previously, she was only looking to get people to hang themselves by not doing their jobs. Sorry, but scapegoat managing really ticks me off. It all gets back to personal accountability. She wanted to lead to prove that she can do it. Obviously, she proved that she CANNOT do it.

A quarterly system, IMO, would INCREASE government spending. You are now putting it on the people to pay their own taxes. What are the chances that these people will pay them, pay them in their entirety, and pay them ontime? Without all three in place, you will now need to pay people to track the delinquents down. This will happen 4 times a year. With the payroll tax or consumption tax, you pay the tax on the spot. You just need to track down the people who owe more than they paid, but at least they paid something. Self-employed is a different story, but you get my point. I do not need IRA's to know that I need to save for retirement. I do not need student loans to say that I need an education. Personal accountability: get some.
