  1. So, no more buying DVD's as gifts for people unless you bring that person along with you at the time of purchase. Yeah, smart move.
  2. Both party's are absolutely embarrassing in this situation. Forcing a rule change in order to get a vote is a disgrace. Stopping all action in the Senate over a couple of judges is appalling. Seeing Senators saying that all nominees "deserve an up or down vote," while a few years later stopping an "up or down vote" because you do not like the candidate is hypocritical. That is what people voted for, and that is what they get. It is time that people stand up to their elected officials and say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! Remember, they work for you, not the reverse.
  3. Maybe, he is just a slow typer. He is, afterall, 273 years old.
  4. Repeat after me: We need more governmental regulation of our lives. We need more governmental regulation of our lives. We need more governmental regulation of our lives. We need more governmental regulation of our lives. ...
  5. Safety concerns? Being pregnant is a safety concern? I know pregancies can be risky for some women, but banned from school because it is a "safety concern?" Something is not adding up here.
  6. Are you sure about that? Funny, if people apply the same standards to the no fly zones as they did with Gulf War part Deux, then the no fly zones are illegal. The no fly zones were implimented without international approval. They were an act strictly conceived and enforced by Britain and the U.S. France was involved in the beginning, but bowed out within a few years.
  7. You forgot to add: President Clinton had Iraq on the U.S. list of State sponsors of terrorism and the UN specifically listed Iraq (within resolutions) as a sponsor of terrorism. Terrorist groups: *Abu Nidal Organization – Received government sponsorship from Iraq *Ansar al-Islam – Received safe haven in Iraq *Arab Liberation Front – Formed and was stationed in Iraq. Iraq was the primary leader, and it is considered that this group was a proxy for the Iraqi government in the Palestinian Territories and in Lebanon. *Movement of Islamic Action of Iraq – Formed in 1982, it was based in Iraq and Iran. *Mujahedin-e-Khalq – Received military and financial support from Iraq, along with safe-haven. *Palestine Liberation Front – Received financial support along with safe-haven.
  8. I can't wait to see the response to this one.
  9. Hey, you have absolutely no qualifications to be discussing this stuff. Now, point your browser to MoveOn.org and educate yourself.
  10. ...and where is the Dem contribution to make things better for their constituents?
  11. So, the Dem contribution is making sure nothing gets accomplished?
  12. Hey, Sparkey...I was addressing Dexter with the TD-3 comment. Please re-read the thread. As far as the TD-2 use, why would they use a TD-1 or 2 to hit the ROK? The ND-1 and 2 are more than sufficient to hit the ROK and Japan. They also have the Hwasong 5 and 6. The TD variants are to hit targets farther away.
  13. Details...details...
  14. Damn, you are old. Happy Birthday, Ed!!
  15. I can't help it. It is sucking me in...
  16. Frankly, I am not even sure a TD-3 is on the drawing board. They are concentrating on getting a TD-2 design that works.
  17. The TD-2 doesn't even work yet and you are talking about a TD-3?
  18. Because, you usually have a warped sense of reality. Sorry if I let your history guide me. It is not like you have proven you are capable of anything else.
  19. ...hence the "must...stay...away" post.
  20. another must...stay...away thread
  21. ...must...stay...away...from...this...thread...
  22. This guy is obviously not the brightest bulb in the circuit. As you mentioned, he will probably lose more in the civil suit against him than he will win in any civil suit against the custard shop.
  23. ...and there is nothing wrong with that.
