  1. It is a Catch-22. You cannot become viable unless people are willing to vote for you. People will not vote for you unless you are viable. You can get a lot of exposure and people can like what you are saying, but they still pull the red or blue levers when they get into the voting booth. People want to wait for someone else to do all the work and then they will just latch on later. As a result, we are stuck with the Big Two.
  2. I hear this all the time. I ask a simple question and have NEVER received a response. I am going to try again. People will not vote for a third party candidate until they become viable candidates to win. How do they become viable candidates to win if you do not vote for them?
  3. We do not mess around over there.
  4. Nobody is forcing you to live there. If you do not like the terms of the lease, don't sign it. It is that simple. I see nothing illegal about it.
  5. Happy Birthday!!
  6. Now you did it. No action will be taken against you, too.
  7. He is a young 93.
  8. HFB, Eryn!! 93?? I don't believe it. You don't look a day over 85.
  9. Yup. You have me pegged. Now I can sleep at night. Funny. You felt the need to respond. Kinda contradicts your statements, doesn't it.
  10. No. He was planning on having his best hitter before his worst hitter. The situation (last inning, down by a run, blah...blah...blah) has nothing to do with it.
  11. I'm really nervous now. I may have no action taken against me.
  12. ...and look how you turned out.
  13. Turn it around. The cancer kid coach could have specifically put the cancer kid after the slugger, knowing that they would have to pitch to the slugger to keep from hurting the cancer kid's feelings. Play the guilt card.
  14. You had better be careful. You already know you are on his sh-- list. He may take no action against you.
  15. Then the coach playing against the cancer kid should have just forfeited the game so that the cancer kid didn't have his feelings hurt. We will make sure that you are there to explain to the kids that they are losing the game because the other kid had cancer. It had nothing to do with their play or the fact that they earned the right to fight for that championship. Just throw away that long season so the cancer kid does not have his feelings hurt. Let me know how it goes.
  16. Where did I say that the roster was set that very instant? When you have your best player followed by your worst player, there is a very good chance that they will walk the best batter to pitch to the worst. It not only happens at the end of the game, but during any inning. It is part of baseball. Blame the cancer kid's coach.
  17. Happy Birthday!! Its all downhill from here. Enjoy the ride.
  18. If you want to blame someone, you should blame the cancer kid’s coach for putting him in that situation (batting behind the best batter). What did he think was going to happen? The other team was going to hand the game to them because they have a cancer kid on the team? Why not get an entire team of cancer kids and walk your way to a championship, because every team would have to forfeit to prevent hurting anyone’s feelings? Think about the kids on the opposing team from the cancer kid. How will they feel knowing that they need to lay down to make one of the other team’s members feel better about themselves? Don’t you think that you are going to create resentment for treating the cancer kid differently than everyone else? Is the cancer kid not going to participate in sports in the future because he is not being treated differently than everyone else? If you join sports, you need to be capable of handling adversity (things like losing for example). He has already dealt with it in the rest of his life. Sports is no different.
  19. Thanks for that image. Where the hell is that F-You smilie?
  20. You forgot hurricanes, tsunamis and global warming. Not the U.S. Just Bush. Remember, history started January 21, 2001. Go figure.
  21. I have attended some in the past and had a great time. I highly recommend it.
  22. They seem to feel that if any of the information got out on how they stopped it, it would make things more difficult to gain victories in the future. If they mention anything, then they will be pressured to release ALL of the details or the Dems and the press will cry foul. The whiners will claim that they are hiding important information from the public, simply because they feel the public is stupid enough to believe it. Therefore, the administration hides everything, bringing out the whiners saying that the administration is hiding important information from the public.
  23. Actually, I think you are overestimating their incentive to stop it due to the fact that if they solve the problem, they can no longer use it as a campaign issue. That is evident in practically everything they do.
  24. I have been channeling PastaJoe. Damn, now I am feeling light-headed.
