  1. I don´t like this article at all. The guy´s just a curse. When we writes about something, you can bet it won´t happen...
  2. Has to be Bledsoe. If he plays well we win. All the other parts of the team are predictable, they will play at least reasonably well. But if the statue throws 3 picks we are billsfanone...
  3. Good comparison. Look where a team can go when it has no D.
  4. 24-37. That´s the bottom line. Even if you take the first year numbers out of the equation, his record with us is 21-24. Not good enough. And 0-0 in the playoffs. Which is what really matters. If we make the playoffs this year, that will change for the worse, I guess. This team is not there yet.
  5. Just one question: where has this D taken this team? To the Super Bowl? Four times? No. Heck, this team hasn´t even played a playoff game yet! You might say "but it was the O which was mainly responsible for our success in the past". True, but that´s not the whole story. We had some great people on D back then, like Bruce, Darryl, the Biscuit, and Phil. Maybe our LB today are on par, but our DEs are not even close.
  6. Gray´s not going anywhere soon. Unless we make serious noise in the postseason, he won´t be on anybody´s list. Maybe a few years from now, but not as we speak.
  7. This game, as absurd as it might seem, depends on 'what Bledsoe' shows up on Sunday. If it´s the Bledsoe from two weeks ago, we have a very good chance, because the Cinci D will have to respect our passing game, and the OL will have an easier time to open holes for Willis. Not, if the Bledsoe from last weekend is the one we have back there, then Cinci will beat us pretty handy. They will place eight men in the box, Willis will get stuffed most of the time, and our D will get tired.
  8. The problem with Ted´s leaving was that he wanted us to show him the money and we had none thanks to Butler...
  9. I just found out, as you can see in the post above this one, that Fitz and Williams surpassed Evans this week.
  10. It was a heck of a long pass by McNabb, and he really avoided contact with the Redskins safety. Even the guys at ESPN were calling him out for being a wimp. He later caught a long ball from McNabb. But, as Beerball said, he should have gotten a lot of flak for getting so blatantly yellow. Glad he isn´t a Bill.
  11. Keary Colbert from Carolina also has more yards than Evans. Those are the only two that are ahead of him, Clayton by a wide margin. Go to nfl.com and see the stats page. You´ll find the info you want there.
  12. Peter King´s 'Fine 15' is a joke. The guy is clueless. Besides, the Packers are always 5 spots above where they should be due to King´s infatuation with Brett Favre... If there´s a 'bandwagoner' in football, he´s the one.
  13. It´s nice to read nice things about us, but I guess this is the last week it will happen. A loss at Cinci, which is a good possibility, will make the media forget the Bills. But, if we win and play Pittsburgh fighting for a playoff slot, then the media will be all over Buffalo.
  14. Yeah, he played the better part of the 4th quarter. Although you probably didn´t notice it, since he was most of the time just handing the ball to Williams.
  15. Stats, stats - you should have heard TV´s interview after the game. He said some very wise words...
  16. When you win by a score of 37-7 and your QB had a 51.something QB rating, you know the game wasn´t a pretty one. What could they show, besides the two Willis TD runs? The rookie getting plastered all game long?
  17. Same thoughts here. I guess you´re right on the money. Only the Jets are favorites to win in this group. Denver almost got beat by Miami, the Jags will play in the winter at Lambeau (they will miss the mild Jax weather in December), and Indy is unstoppable at home (besides, Peyton wants the TD record). Seattle won today, but they are not good. The Jets should beat them at home. If that happens and we win, this is the playoff scenario: NY 10-4, Bal/Den/Buf 8-6, Jax 7-7, Cinci 6-8.
  18. Shaud Williams ran against a demoralised team that was using its second unit on the field. Granted, he ran very well, but at that stage the game looked like a preseason match. I really don´t think he´s good enough to start in this league. Maybe in the future he will improve enough so he´ll be able to, but not now.
  19. Game´s over. The Browns amassed the amazing total of 17 yards...
  20. Travis will have some competition for the backup RB spot next year (if he isn´t elsewhere by then).
  21. They will. The Jets only won games against sorry teams (and we were sorry when they beat us at that game in NJ).
  22. We will play better next week. TKO will kick everyone´s butts if we don´t in his return to Cinci.
