  1. Wednesday or Thursday to review what was discussed yesterday, and the F.A.B. in general. The meeting was held at yesterday's camp session. My pictures: https://www.facebook.com/jacob.rosen.35/media_set?set=a.1029077130449360.1073741833.100000412489023&type=3&pnref=story
  2. I want Tyrod or EJ to earn it. Has little to do with last night - it's always been more about the long-term prospects for them vs Cassel, and to solidify the position for a few years so that we can concentrate on other things.
  3. It looked like the same is true of Rex' feelings on IK's jump on 4th and 4 on the final drive.
  4. She was also in Star Trek:

  6. I passed one on the 290 last weekend. But nobody felt it was their duty to hold everyone else up. The cops leading the procession didn't care. I turned my lights on, if that helps.
  7. Weather like that is hard on just about everyone

  9. The people who sat behind us when my son was younger used to pay him a dollar for each swearword they blurted out. One guy once gave him a $5 bill at kickoff saying he had a bad feeling about the game. Where you sit has a huge bearing on what a child is exposed to. I used all of the idiotic behavior as teaching moments, which so far have kept him away from trouble I think. He does have a foul mouth as a 17 year old, though
  10. We are according to this guy: http://www.foxsports.com/buzzer/story/buffalo-bills-have-drunkest-fans-in-the-nfl-081114
  11. I just rewatched the Bills Jets game that was in Detroit the night after OBJ's catch. Solomon Wilcotts had this beauty: "The whole world knows your name now, Lidell Beckham Jr!"
  12. You're welcome. I'm not sure this is a team thing, but I can definitely ask about it. I will say that I bet no team wants to have tickets available for less than what they are trying to charge. Perhaps once a game is sold out this might be an option, but I wonder how many preseason games sell out.
  13. I'd say Kiko Alonso, but that was 2013.

  15. We have smokers on the Fan Advisory Board. But I think people see the greater benefits of freeing up security personnel for more applicable duties. It's unfortunate that the actions of a minority screwed up the compromise that was worked out (designated smoking areas outside the seating area/concourses), but they did and these are the consequences.
  16. Do other folks have specific areas where exiting the lots is routinely bad? I will compile these and present them.
  17. The smoking policy has been evolving over time, responding to ongoing abuses. As soon as they prohibited smoking within the bowl itself, some (NOT ALL) people continued to try to smoke there even though there were specified areas where it was allowed. It has gotten to a point where enforcement of the rules in place (again due to continued abuse) has taken so much security/police attention away from where it is needed that the Bills have now not only prohibited smoking from all areas, they have actually prohibited bringing tobacco products into the stadium. There's now no grey area. You are caught with tobacco products, you get rid of it (no more "just put it out") or you're gone. Don't blame the team for the bahavior that forced this drastic action. Here's a link to the smoking policies of all NFL teams. Buffalo is not the only one that completely prohibits smoking. http://www.no-smoke.org/pdf/smokingpoliciesNFLstadiums.pdf The smoking policy comes up at every meeting. It is what it is.
  18. Ultimately of course that is up to the fans. But the Bills realize that they have to give fans a reason to leave their tailgates and come in earlier. We gave many off-the-cuff ideas last meeting so I'll be very interested to hear what if any progress the team has made in this area. The fact they can't sell alcohol til noon is of course a blocker... I'll make sure that an update and further discussion is on the agenda. Those are vultures, and they're just waiting for me to pass on. Gotta happen soon...
  19. From a guest experience perspective, is there anything you'd like me to bring forward for discussion? Any question you have that I can get answered for you?
  20. The pre-game dump - very important ritual!
  21. Coming from Rochester I do the 90/milestrip/mckinley/brompton route. You left out the left on Southwestern. I park at a house across from ECC however - easier to make a right onto Southwestern after the game. Some shortcuts: On way to stadium, turn right from milestrip into the plaza with Home depot. Continue through the parking lot of the plaza on McKinley toward the Wegmans. Then turn right onto McKinley and left onto Brompton. On way out of stadium, I've started going through McKinley mall to avoid the traffic on the road. I take a right onto Milestrip and then get onto the 219.
  22. If I didn't have golf tonight I'd probably be going.
  23. HA! The "Superfans" (or the Pro Football Ultimate Fan Association members if you prefer) are a bunch of fans who are closely identified with the teams they root for. The ones I've met are good people. One of their goals is to promote the idea that you can root for your team with no ill-will or disrespect toward the fans of any other team. This is one of my favorite photos from last year: Don't know what it would have looked like had the Bills won that game, but I bet Pancho would have been protected. Just to see such an obvious die-hard Bills fan in the Black Hole like that was very cool indeed. We should all learn from it.
