I disagree. Butler's (mis-)handling of this, as well as the RJ/DF situation, I believe led to his decision to leave the team. In the process he totally tanked the 2000 draft, knowing he was out of here. Then the dominoes started falling - Donahoe's arrival shortly followed by Gregg Williams, etc etc etc.

This isn't meant to resurrect the RJ/DF debate. It's more about how the actions in the aftermath of that loss are still wreaking havoc with this team. It's a 10 year hangover that hopefully is near its end.

Tried a new place up here in Webster earlier this week - Webster Hots. Awesome plate! And they have Tater Tots as an option I've tried Empire Hots & Bay Hots up here and both had watery mac salad that left a puddle

Well said. if Ralph will forego $7 million owed to DJ because a player who will be here 2 more months said or did something, he needs to be declared incompetent for his own safety.

Unless we're hiring somebody who's already employed, why wait until the offseason? Get the jump on everyone else who might be in the HC and/or GM market now. Give them time to get to know what's here personally.
