  1. Heard this at lunch today (warning it's pretty nasty):
  2. My son's first game he was 3 1/2 years old - a preseason game against the Eagles. One of his first regular season games was the Let It Snow game against the fish (12/1/2002). He wasn't even 5 yet but he still remembers that very well. As a season ticket holder the same people are always around, and they watched out for him and took extra care to watch language etc when he was young. One guy even gave him a dollar for every curse One time he handed him $5 at kickoff saying "I think this is gonna be a bad game".
  3. We can quibble over the fact that they're actually the ONLY team in NY but still... http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2012/writers/don_banks/05/15/strong.hunches/index.html?eref=sihp&sct=hp_wr_a1
  4. I'm not sure the TV movie version did it justice, but when I was reading Salem's Lot the part where the boy who had been turned into a vampire was hovering outside the girl's bedroom window asking to be let in... woogies.
  5. Thanks for posting the link back to that thread, Jack. Profoundly sad because of the topic, but also to see some of TBD's great past posters who are no longer sharing their lives and love of the Bills with us here. RIP indeed, Paul.
  6. They must be the ones who don't remember that James Harris was the first black player to start a season at QB
  7. He was in studio. Charlie Jones & Todd Christiansen called the game.
  8. I'm at work again - why do you keep asking?
  9. Sorry Brother. Still an easier commute than to England though.
  10. Where I usually park on Southwestern I am usually out in 10 minutes. Right onto Brompton, right onto McKinley, cut thru mall, right onto Milestrip, right onto 219 then Thruway. I can be back in Rachacha by 5:30
  11. It also opens earlier and stays open later than the stadium lots. My one issue with it, and this is just for me, is that I find it hard to get from there to the Thruway heading East. Officers dictate you have to turn right onto Abbott, then right onto Big Tree. If you have to leave right after the game, which I do, this can take 30 minutes or more.
  12. [1]Bruce Smith [2]Jim Kelly [3]Thurman Thomas [4]OJ Simpson [5]Joe DeLamielleur [6]Billy Shaw [7]Andre Reed [8]Jack Kemp [9]Cookie Gilchrist [10]Steve Tasker 1-6 are HOFers, just have to put them in order. 7 should soon be a HOFer too. 8 and 9 were the keys to the AFL championship teams. So that leaves 1 spot open... Considered Hull, Talley, Bennett, Stratton, Sestak. But to me, Tasker was the one who other teams had to game-plan around. He changed the way the game is played. They added a position to the Pro Bowl because of him.
  13. Check out the Tailgate pictures in the gallery - those were taken at his lot. It's well organized, secure, and has clean port-a-potties with much shorter lines than those in the Bills' lots.
  14. I believe he had to wait til Polian was unemployed for this to happen. Would look a little odd honoring a guy who is still working for another team.
  15. I guess this means 1gap2gap is outta here. That's too bad.
  16. Don't split 10s
  17. Miss Oklahoma 1997
  18. In order to do that I'd have to look at him, and that's something I do everything in my power not to do.

  20. I think the first-ever night practice was televised here in Rochester.
  21. The same way they enforce the Bounties rule - tell people it's a no-no, then punish them if they find out you violated it.
