  1. I dont know what everyones problem with Two Broke Girls is. Those chicks are pretty hot, and its a realistic storyline. Its like, that show is the EJ Manuel of sitcoms.
  2. I dont disagree but this entire thread has turned into a big steamin' pile of "ifs". So take the Jaguars game. Sammy played, had a decent game, but Tyrod still looked like crap, and the only reason we won that game was because of Shadys crazy legs. Taylor had i think 150 yards passing that game. If Sammy had not played do you think that total would have actually gone down? Probably not. My point is, is thats Taylor. Hes just not a good passer. You take those two games, the Bengals game and the Jags game. Then look at the Steelers and Raiders game, and that pretty much tells us all we need to know about Taylor. Not good enough.
  3. Tyrod has his strong suits, but overall i think Dalton is a bit of a better passer than Tyrod
  4. We also could have lost the Bengals game if AJ Green wouldnt have gone out early
  5. Every time i see your screen name it looks like "Bills bare back" to me.
  6. Whaley works out too, y'know! How come nobody makes a big deal about that?
  7. There are alot of great underrated guitarists but i personally think buckethead slays them all by a mile. But here is another underrated great from way back.
  8. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/03/28/oakland-councilman-wants-raiders-out-now/ Its like your wife divorcing you then saying shes gonna stay at the house with you for up to three more years. Messy...
  9. If last year taught us anything, we dont even need receivers. Just a top 5 D.
  10. Ames had some good values back in the day. I remember Two Guys as well, again, some great bargains. You could get a little area rug for .99¢ there. I was more of a Hills guy, though. We must not forget the rarely mentioned Gold Circle.
  11. The thread that never dies...
  12. His play is gonna fall off a cliff at some point sooner rather than later. The hits are going to hurt more. And take longer to recover from. Hes gonna wake up one morning, hobbled over from being blasted by some 280 lb 24 year old the night before, hes gonna look in his jewelry box full of rings, hes gonna look at his supermodel wife, hes gonna hop on his ipad and check his bank account, and say... Why? Hang um up Tom.
  13. 95% of the crap on tv is utterly unwatchable, but two real standouts are Greys Anatomy; its like getting stabbed in the face with an ice pick Mike and Molly; i dont even know what to say about that one
  14. Whether your a fan of Tyrod or not i think we can all agree he brings alot of untangibles and an inconventional approach to quarterbacking in the NFL. This might be good, this might be bad. Im not sure.
  15. Manny Lawson and Nigel Bradham were BEASTS that year too. Nix guys, unless you want to give Whaley credit for them because he was director of pro personnel or something?
  16. Dareus K Williams Mario Jerry Hughes A Williams Gilmore McKelvin Spikes Theres alot of Nix on that list.
  17. If Whaley had any sack he would have never let blowhard Rex gut the roster he built. It takes a GM like Polian or Butler to succeed here. A GM that would practically physically fight the owner for full control of football operations. Not a "yes sir, whatever you say sir" kind of guy like Whaley.
  18. I hate all the other teams in the NFL pretty much equally. Always have, always will.
  19. Hahaha! Fair enough. I was a huge EJ supporter, and i cringed at that Watkins deal. Hated it. Still do, and always will. Whaley does suck, killed himself by not getting a real QB in here.
  20. I dont know that "doubling down" on him is the correct term. Whaley just isnt a QB focused guy. It seems. We all saw the shine come off of EJ's luster pretty quickly. Some of us wanted him to be the guy a little more and a little longer than others. Its impossible to say though, that having EJ on the roster prevented us from taking guys like Carr and Dak. As the rest of the league passed on them too. I WILL say, though, that Whaley has almost zero acumen when it comes to QB's.
  21. Did we not NEED to take a QB in 2013? First overall? Should we have taken Geno? We had a higher pick that year, should we have taken a linebacker? Or defensive back? Or running back? EJ was the only play that year. It didnt work out... Move on.
  22. Fitz had royally pissed off the entire region, and needed to go. Nix was all over the media saying how he wasnt going to leave until they found a franchise QB. We were going to take a first round QB in 2013 no matter what. We did, EJ played out his rookie contract and he is gone. 15 games on a first round picked QB is not too much. Its fine, its about what the team needed to see to decide on its investment. The whole EJ thing is the last thing id use to define Whaleys career here. Its basically inconsequential to me.
  23. Of all Whaleys failures and shortcomings as a GM, i cant believe EJ is the sticking point. Thats the least thing i would criticize Whaley for. We needed a QB, Nix pigeonholed us into taking one that year, we NEEDED to take one and we did. He didnt work out, so what? We stuck with him, because he was a high pick, for four years, as we should have. EJ got one last chance to prove himself a few months ago, and we cut bait. So what, it failed. Sometimes players fail. But to me, its not the definition of Whaleys career here. The definition of Whaleys career, is 3 head coaches in four years. A trade for a premium receiver when you dont have a premium passer, and no plan to get one. Its a mish moshed roster. Its personnel that dosent fit a particular scheme. Its players that fall asleep in meetings. Its a ragtag bunch of misfits that dont play as a cohesive unit. Those are Whaleys failures. EJ? EJ is nothing, EJ is a drop in the bucket. Sully is dead on, and Whaley should go right after the draft.
  24. Josh Gordon is pretty @#$&ing crazy
