  1. Ya only Miami runs the shanahan style, but doesn't look like they are going to make the playoffs this year so shouldn't have to deal with that.
  2. Still want the 1 seed, but if KC clinches it up before week 18 it is very possible the Bills clinch the 2 seed by week 17 and can rest their starters week 18 Bills got to win 2 out of 3- At detroit, and then the jets and pats- Extremely possible Pitts got to lose 2 out of 3- At Philly, At Balt and KC- Very likely they lose 2 of those
  3. I think bengals are done. 9-8 won't get in this year IMO. And that's even assuming they win out
  4. Dude🤦‍♂️ I'm a nice guy so will end it respectfully here- In the future if you want to justify McDermott, I would strongly recommend you don't bring up the 13 seconds game to other bills fans to support your argument lol. Have a good night buddy
  5. It was an epic failure by McDermott. No way around it. Even McDermotts wife would say he sh*t the bed that game
  6. 🤦‍♂️Since we have to go down here with why there was even a coin flip in the 1st place. 13 seconds left: Error 1: Kicking off instead of squibbing Error 2: Playing the sidelines when KC has 2 timeouts left Error 3: Calling timeouts and letting KC strategize. (Kelce said the timeouts were the reason the reason they were successful) The list goes on. There should have never been a coin flip in the 1st place as McDermott completely butchered it at an all time bad level
  7. I listened to his post game and it didn't sound like he liked it at all. He kind of tip toed the questions when they asked him about the call and just kept saying "I need to do a better job of getting in there".
  8. But respectfully it's an odd example to bring up if your stance is to justify McDermott. Hes the main reason they lost that game as he completely butchered the end of the game
  9. There were a comedy of errors in the last 13 seconds from the head coach which led to the overtime
  10. Is this serious? Do we really have to re visit how the bills got into overtime in the 13 seconds game?
  11. Haha his go to line. Can't wait to see more soft zone and poor game management in the playoffs.
  12. They score 42 points and his concern is that they didn't run the ball enough😂
  13. Yep. But I think everyone on the defence besides benford was horrible.
  14. Hahaha. Typical McDermott. Thanks for sharing buddy
  15. Was there any update on Rasul Douglas's knee injury?
  16. He has been pretty good since that extra point miss against miami. Even that kick last week that he missed in the snow, I thought he absolutely drilled it from 48 yards out. Just hooked a very little bit, but he hit that ball very pure, especially in those conditions
  17. Nothing from years past and this year for the most part has told me the Bills will make changes to their defensive philosophy. If they keep running this bend but dont break defence, they will get shredded against good QBS once again come playoff time. Their best game plan of the year was against KC a few weeks ago IMO, when they played a lot more man/cover 1. Which is why it is just maddening the game plan against the rams in the 1st half was soft zone, rush 4, especially against a QB in Stafford who shreds zone coverage. I just don't know what they are thinking sometimes
  18. Come on man the defence wasn't THAT bad... it was only 44 points let up, not 45..
  19. Haha fair. I guess my biggest issue is why are you starting off the defensive game plan playing a lot of coverage, and why does it take you a half to adjust. Mcvay also adjusted cause he knew the bills would try to send pressure. If the bills started off with pressure looks, I think it's a completely different game and it would have kept Mcvay and stafford on their toes more Nope not always. I agree with that
  20. Hey you might be right and we won't really know until we see the breakdowns- So if I'm wrong I have no problem saying so. But watching it live this is what I got out of it: -Bills played a lot of soft zone in the 1st half which got shredded in the pass and run -Bills adjusted in the 2nd half and did more run blitzes which helped the run D out -Bills tried to send more pressure and played more man in the 2nd half at times but again what I was saying, it seemed very predictable and Mcvay had the blitz beaters dialed up. Again I could be wrong- But those were my observations from watching it live
  21. Really eh? Respectfully I don't see it that way at all. They definitely pressured at times, but also remember the rams had 72 plays so we were bound to see some pressure looks from that large number of plays. I think they got a bit desperate and blitzed/played man more in the 2nd half cause the zone wasn't working at all, but that kind of goes back to my original point where I think when they did blitz, it seemed so predictable
  22. Some of the plays you are absolutely correct, but usually man to man goes hand in hand with blitzing. If you blitz, you are going to play more man and that's kind of what I was referring to with when they did blitz (and play man to your point), Mcvay knew it was coming as it was obvious . I think something else to consider is the rams had 72 plays which is an insane amount, so we were bound to see some pressure looks out of all of those plays
  23. A lot of the time, yes. But then they tried to adjust and send pressure and it backfired as well because they made their blitz looks so obvious lol. (Like the last Nacua TD for example, was a perfect cover 0 Beater with the screen) Stafford and Mcvay basically knew what they were calling the whole time and were always a step ahead of Babich
  24. This game really confirmed to me how stubborn McDermott and Babich are in their defensive strategy . Weaver from Miami literally gave them the blueprint a few weeks ago on how to stop the rams by sending pressure and playing a lot of man. And bills literally did the opposite of that. Sat in their soft zone coverage for the majority of the time, and then when they did blitz? it was so predictable and obvious as stafford/Mcvay were a step ahead of them
  25. Yep- although I think the blueprint has been out on how to shred this defence for a while. Bills want you to go 10-12 plays and be perfect. If teams stay committed to the run and quarterbacks understand zone coverage and stay patient, it's a very simple defence to shred
