  1. Come on man the defence wasn't THAT bad... it was only 44 points let up, not 45..
  2. Haha fair. I guess my biggest issue is why are you starting off the defensive game plan playing a lot of coverage, and why does it take you a half to adjust. Mcvay also adjusted cause he knew the bills would try to send pressure. If the bills started off with pressure looks, I think it's a completely different game and it would have kept Mcvay and stafford on their toes more Nope not always. I agree with that
  3. Hey you might be right and we won't really know until we see the breakdowns- So if I'm wrong I have no problem saying so. But watching it live this is what I got out of it: -Bills played a lot of soft zone in the 1st half which got shredded in the pass and run -Bills adjusted in the 2nd half and did more run blitzes which helped the run D out -Bills tried to send more pressure and played more man in the 2nd half at times but again what I was saying, it seemed very predictable and Mcvay had the blitz beaters dialed up. Again I could be wrong- But those were my observations from watching it live
  4. Really eh? Respectfully I don't see it that way at all. They definitely pressured at times, but also remember the rams had 72 plays so we were bound to see some pressure looks from that large number of plays. I think they got a bit desperate and blitzed/played man more in the 2nd half cause the zone wasn't working at all, but that kind of goes back to my original point where I think when they did blitz, it seemed so predictable
  5. Some of the plays you are absolutely correct, but usually man to man goes hand in hand with blitzing. If you blitz, you are going to play more man and that's kind of what I was referring to with when they did blitz (and play man to your point), Mcvay knew it was coming as it was obvious . I think something else to consider is the rams had 72 plays which is an insane amount, so we were bound to see some pressure looks out of all of those plays
  6. A lot of the time, yes. But then they tried to adjust and send pressure and it backfired as well because they made their blitz looks so obvious lol. (Like the last Nacua TD for example, was a perfect cover 0 Beater with the screen) Stafford and Mcvay basically knew what they were calling the whole time and were always a step ahead of Babich
  7. This game really confirmed to me how stubborn McDermott and Babich are in their defensive strategy . Weaver from Miami literally gave them the blueprint a few weeks ago on how to stop the rams by sending pressure and playing a lot of man. And bills literally did the opposite of that. Sat in their soft zone coverage for the majority of the time, and then when they did blitz? it was so predictable and obvious as stafford/Mcvay were a step ahead of them
  8. Yep- although I think the blueprint has been out on how to shred this defence for a while. Bills want you to go 10-12 plays and be perfect. If teams stay committed to the run and quarterbacks understand zone coverage and stay patient, it's a very simple defence to shred
  9. Im not saying fire him. But saying it's not the head coaches fault when his defence gives up over 40 and he completely botched the game management at the end doesn't make much sense to me. That L is on him , Babich and yes the defensive players of course
  10. You quote: "But the glaring issue was the defense". McDermott is supposed to be a defensive head coach, no?
  11. Actually laughable at this point
  12. But also played a lot more cover 1/man coverage against KC
  13. I know- so frustrating. I was very critical of Babich before the KC game. Then after that game I said that was his best game called of the year. Then he goes back to his passive zone defence and gets shredded by stafford. Makes no sense
  14. Yep. You have to pressure and play man coverage against stafford. Especially man coverage. And the Bills literally did the opposite for the most part because they just continue to run their zone defence
  15. Have the chiefs ever missed a field goal? It's absolutely ridiculous
  16. I think it's just PTSD for a lot of us on how the bills lost. Can't stop a good QB/good player caller. If the bills lost like 24-21, it would be more casual for me. But defence sitting in soft zone, getting 0 pass rush and getting gashed all game long just reminds of every single playoff loss
  17. Me: "I'm not gonna get excited as Cheifs are gonna win anyways". After that TD pass: "LFG!!!!!"
  18. Not even gonna get excited as chiefs are just going to find the most ridiculous way to win again lol
  19. Didn't Josh say he didn't audible out of it? I thought i saw someone quote that from him but not 100 percent sure
  20. The sneak/timeout is beyond inexcusable. You have to pass it there. If you do decide to sneak for some reason, you need a play ready to go if you don't get the TD How many years now and this guy still cannot figure out game management in crucial times. It's not even complicated stuff that he continues to mess up
  21. Correct me if I'm wrong: That Monday night game against Miami they had all those guys healthy and scored 15 points- And on top of it Miami was missing how many starters on defence, like 4?
  22. Haha whoops I legit forgot about that one. As I was just thinking back to the Brady/Super Bowl days So the answer to your question is 2018
  23. When did he coach in the playoffs last, 2019? So I guess the answer to your question would be 2018 in the SB as they won 13-3 and shut down the rams which was the best offence in the league that year .
  24. Bills would win a Super Bowl with belichick- Cause his defence would actually show up in the playoffs and he knows how to slow down elite QBs
  25. I'll say rusty as of now. Its been a long time since he's played. Now if it's still like this going into the playoffs, then will be concerning
