  1. It wasn't either one of those guys that dropped the ball on third down and allowed the Pats to come back and win. That was on Stevie. If he catches that ball, the Bills win the game and everybody is happy. He missed two like that today that killed drives. Marrone, Hackett and Pettine did their jobs. Stevie didn't do his. He gets paid to catch the football.

True but even on his first challenge of the game, new England recovered the football and the man still challenges. I just think he looked a little lost today
  2. I dont mean this in a negative way. I am merely calling it as I see it. Has anyone else seen the Bills in more dire straits than right now? Ive been going to the stadium since the early 70's and suffered through some tough times like the rest of you. But I dont ever remember it being as bad as it is right now. From the Buddy nix phone call that was just pathetic from a GM. To a long term deal with a journeyman contract. At one point we had Russ Brandon as the GM not too mention we have only hit on a few draft picks in the last ten or so years. 13 years of no playoffs. People can flame away at me, franky I dont care my life will go on. As of right now, and I know its been discussed already, but we have 1 wide receiver, no tight end until some point in the season, just lost the top or close to the top guards in the NFL, Fred Jackson has wear and tear so we have no depth at RB. We have one QB on the roster that we gave a 7th round pick for then never dressed him the whole year. Oh, and this QB cant hit the broad side of a barn. On defense we have no linebackers and wow, we signed a second stringer from Cinci. Maybe our D line is a strength but the jury is still out and Dareus hasnt played like a number 3 over all. He gets a pass for his brothers death. At safety we are weak and at CB too. I am bracing for 1-15 to 3-13 at very best. Yes my friends, its that bad. So get your popcorn ready for the comedy show.

i agree man. i dont think 1-15, but this team is brutal. no QB, no 2nd 3rd 4th 5th receiever, bad corners, terrible linebackers. this team has so many holes. ill say 4-12- 6-10 range

  3. as much as i hate the pats, i really dont think so. look at their superbowl wins. the first one they should have lost to oakland but they invented the tom brady rule. the 2nd one came down to a last second field goal. in the 2 super bowls theyve lost, they were winning both times in pretty much the final possession but lost. my point is that those games came down to a play here and there, great catches that were made, clutch field goals. could have went either way. they could be 1-4 in super bowls wins or 4-1 or 5-0

The Patriots won their three Super Bowls with last minute drives that barely squeaked by their opponents. Since Spygate, they lost a couple Super Bowls on last minute drives where teams squeaked by them. It easily could have gone the other way, them losing the first three and then winning the next two.

    exactly

  4. agree with your assessment. fitz is not good but i dont believe he was the reaosn we didnt make the playoffs. games we should have won with a better qb would have been the colts game and maybe the rams, thats all i can really think of. 8-8 would have still got us 2 games short

  5. This franchise has done some dumb and/or unconventional things. They DID trade Drew Brees, so it is not inconceivable that they would trade Rivers. If I were them, I would not do it, but I'm not, so we shall see. That being said, I would most certainly be ok with him as a Bill!!!

they didnt trade brees, he was a free agent

  6. if there is one thing about buddy is i think he did a good job building the lines. (yes i know d line underachieved) but our o line looks solid and our d line should be playing at a much higher level. but what sealed his fate was keeping fitz, not drafting a qb and hiring gailey
