  1. as much as i hate the pats, i really dont think so. look at their superbowl wins. the first one they should have lost to oakland but they invented the tom brady rule. the 2nd one came down to a last second field goal. in the 2 super bowls theyve lost, they were winning both times in pretty much the final possession but lost. my point is that those games came down to a play here and there, great catches that were made, clutch field goals. could have went either way. they could be 1-4 in super bowls wins or 4-1 or 5-0

    The Patriots won their three Super Bowls with last minute drives that barely squeaked by their opponents. Since Spygate, they lost a couple Super Bowls on last minute drives where teams squeaked by them. It easily could have gone the other way, them losing the first three and then winning the next two.

    exactly

  2. agree with your assessment. fitz is not good but i dont believe he was the reaosn we didnt make the playoffs. games we should have won with a better qb would have been the colts game and maybe the rams, thats all i can really think of. 8-8 would have still got us 2 games short

  3. This franchise has done some dumb and/or unconventional things. They DID trade Drew Brees, so it is not inconceivable that they would trade Rivers. If I were them, I would not do it, but I'm not, so we shall see. That being said, I would most certainly be ok with him as a Bill!!!

    they didnt trade brees, he was a free agent

  4. if there is one thing about buddy is i think he did a good job building the lines. (yes i know d line underachieved) but our o line looks solid and our d line should be playing at a much higher level. but what sealed his fate was keeping fitz, not drafting a qb and hiring gailey

  5. No he is not. He may not show a ton of emotion but he has had a lot of success as a coach. I think this would be the safest choice. He is a defensive coach and understands his players and the game.

    you do remember dick jauron right? lol lovie smith is just a better version of jauron. cover 2, doesnt blitz much, conservative. he was successful because his defences always had a good front 4 and have 2 hall of famers in the linebacker core

  6. I don't think LaCanfora actually said the Bills were leaning toward Whisenhunt, only that he was a prime candidate--- it sounds more like a guess and it's from 4 hours ago:

    @JasonLaCanfora

    At this point, I'd be looking for Reid in AZ, Arians in SD, Whisenhunt in BUF. CLE and PHI going after Bill O'Brien

    well yea, pretty much the same thing lol

  7. No offense intended but why should I trust your opinion more than I trust my own?

    And aren't Bears fans likely to be just as misinformed as Bills fans or any NFL fans (ie- Steelers fans wanting to fire Tomlin)?

    Why would I want to trust the opinion of "Bears fans?"

    all of that aside why would you want lovie smith? what does he bring to the table? you do know dick jauron went 13-3 with the bears team way back right? dont judge the man by his record. he has so much talent in chicago, underachieved to say the least

  8. Lovie is my choice at this point, but we need to fill some gaps still since the previous crew has been tossed.

    Smith is a very good defensive guy so getting the right OC along with him, knowing it's a rookie QB taking the helm soon enough, is key.

    trust me you dont want lovie. he is a better version of dick jauron. cover 2 conervative approach. ask bears fans
