  1. The return for woods was only a 6 because his cap hit is huge and he's coming off an acl tear. This guy is much younger and much cheaper, so it would take a lot more than a 7th to get him.
  2. Got to get a vet for 3-5 mil range, and I would go CB in the first round
  3. He would be a good fit I think, but I just can't stand the guy
  4. I hope not a lot is coming lol. They were top 5 offences in back to back seasons. I think making a lot of changes would be a mistake. Evolve, but don't change the bread and butter which is predominantly the 11 personnel and Josh throwing to receivers.
  5. If they sign chandler Jones, I would consider free agency a success. I think he's the one missing piece to this team
  6. They will get someone else. Either a day 2 pick in the draft and/or a mid level free agency target.
  7. That is a fair point to bring up.
  8. I may be in the minority but i hope the bills don't sign engram. Knox is due for a contract extension which surely will put him over 10, engram is going to malke I am assuming at least 7 per? Bills are predominately an 11 personnel team and that is Josh allen's bread and butter. I don't want upwards of 20 million tied up to tight ends
  9. This man knows how to maximize money.
  10. I would go on to say there is 0 percent chance the bills draft a QB in round 1
  11. I'm 50/50 on if he can't or not. He is a good coach who needs to go over the hump. It took Andy Reid a long time to clean up his game management skills and get over true hump, so I'm definitely not ready to give up on him yet.
  12. Coaching for the most part. We all saw what happened that KC game. If MCD doesn't piss himself, they win that game and probably the SB. Now I am not saying McDermott is a bad coach, as overall I think he's a good coach. But he definitely had massive inexcusable blunders the last 13 seconds
  13. Ya fair points. Here is the tough part though. If Edmunds has another year where he doesn't grow, do you give him the extension and pay him 12-15 per year? I certainly don't
  14. It's definitely possible. My point is I think they want to see more from him before they give him a big extension. Historically under Beane though, he gives the "core" players contracts after year 3. Josh, Tre, Dawkins, Taron (a few games in year 4) Milano was an exception for sure.
  15. Yep exactly. Which is why they haven't given him an extension yet.
  16. Why are a lot of people acting like this is outrageous? He is back to back mvp and the cap is rising big time the next few years. 50 mil is about right for him
  17. This is true. I still think their pass rush is the wildcard though. Struggled last year IMO It will be up to basham, AJ and Greg. If they all rise, I like our chances. If not, it will be tough to beat the chiefs in the playoffs
  18. I think I would rather take a punch from Mike Tyson to the groin than rewatching that game
  19. Picked a few random linebackers out since you gave me the stat "12" impact plays based on the metrics we used. Edmunds in 17 games including the playoffs had 12. Logan wilson a 3rd round, 2nd year linebacker for the bengals in 16 games total had 22. So 10 more impact plays in 1 less game played as a guy who has been in the league for 2 years compared to Edmunds 4. Ya like I said. Edmunds is just not a playmaker relative to basically any starting linebacker in this league
  20. I think it's a little bit of both for sure
  21. Ok. And that ranks where amongst linebackers or how does that stack up against an average linebacker who played a full season? And now you aren't going to include forced fumbles or fumble recoveries? Cause he had a goose egg there so the math wouldn't change on that one for him , but it would on any other reasonable linebacker
  22. Where's your link for the stat you said to me?
