In these conditions, with a kicker who hasn't made that kick in months? Yes.
I would have went for it.
Def would not have kicked the field goal though

At first I read "nbc , Mike tirico is entering his final year of his contract "
I was like, do we really care about this haha

length?
Arm length. He has really small arms relative to other d lineman and that was the one red Flag for him coming into the NFL

He has rushed from the outside occasionally over 4 years... I think he's even landed a sack
He's usually better stunting around the tackle from the three technique spot though
Oh has he actually? I stand corrected then.
I just knew the concern coming out of college was his arm length, so I figured he would probably struggle against Offensive tackles
-
I know Kansas city does this a lot with Chris jones .
I don't know if Oliver has the length to play outside end on passing downs like a Donald or Chris jones does though

Dan Quinn should never have another NFL coaching job again
Ridiculous coaching.
Like why is he playing 6 guys in the box with 2 deep safeties when down 3 scores lol

Belichick to Dallas?
No way I see McCarthy coming back after this debacle

Dawkins,Douglas will play. Floyd and Rapp. Everything else seems moot
Just a gut feeling,of course
Dawkins I bet would.
But 2 DNP for Douglas.
That definitely isn't trending well for him playing

He's kind of right, but not entirely. One of the issues with the up and down win-loss roller coaster during Dorsey's final games was putting handcuffs and leg shackles on Josh. Josh has got to be Josh. He's not Kurt Warner. Yes, he has to be conventional and trust his receivers, but he's not a classic pocket passer and I doubt he ever will be.
This is kind of where I'm at.
Does he need to take more layups at times? For sure.
But what makes Josh special is his off script play. So there's got to be that balance between "Josh being Josh" and taking the 5-7 yard plays

Miami and it's not even close

He's a big blitz guy and loves to play man.
That would be a huge change in our defensive philosophy if we hired him, I can't see it happening personally

He regrets leaving KC and Mahomes. Yeah, he got paid, but to leave that coach and QB was a huge risk.
You think that? I would guess he's happy in Miami.
He got paid, (with less taxes) he gets his stats, and it's his home town.
Tyreek seems more like a "me" guy vs "team" guy.
I could be wrong though

I thought Collinsworth was pretty good last night.
He was complimentary of Josh and careful with his criticisms.
He's usually unbearable but I could tolerate him in this game.
As a bills fan he was great.
As a dolphins fan, he was probably horrible for them.
Kept talking about how great Josh was in the clutch and was getting the man crush going

I can't go for Miami.
Logically it makes more sense to go for them as we would play Houston or Cleveland.
But F the dolphins

I don't think there are any haters. Maybe 1 or 2. But there are people who are very sensitive to any criticism of him even when warranted.
It is fine to day he did a lot wrong tonight and yet turned up when the Bills needed him too and willed them to a win in that 4th Quarter. That is just the truth.
Fair points but I think he has more then 1 or 2 haters here haha.
I am critical of Josh when he's bad, including the 1st quarter tonight.
But I also look at the big picture and realize this guy is a top QB in this league
-
It's still crazy to me that there are Josh haters.
Is he perfect? No as he will have interceptions.
But he's arguably the best thing that ever happened to this franchise and objectively is a top 5 QB in this league. (2nd in my books)

The fins forum should be prettt reasonable and understanding right now..

Brady sucks again today.
No play action. No hurry up. So frustrating

Can we get some no huddle going here..
I feel that's when Josh is at his best- 1

Do we not have a play to beat an all out blitz?
Its so obvious its coming

Really bad look for McDermott to call out Josh.
The play wasn't that bad and was very close to a TD. And Josh is mot responsible for Cook dropping an easy TD a play before.
And above all, you don't call out your QB like this. Period.
Btw we could've had a TO if McD didn't burn one in midfield.
100 percent agreed.
A "leader" should never call out his players
i can't stand McDermott
