I think in part they stopped limiting Henry's carries, but there is no doubt Tannehill was willing to make gutsier throws. Mariota plays too conservative (even running, which was supposed to be one of his positives).
The game is won in the trenches! Helps Tanny too.
The league started to move toward smaller, faster guys. Smart coaches started going heavy again. Believe it or not, we have that personnel too, we just didn't use it as much this season.
Now let's not forget the Chiefs were blanked for the first ~20 minutes of the game last week and they finished with *51* points. Of course, the Titans defense is >> the Texans defense and the Titans can keep ramming Henry to the game's end, but I'm expecting the Chiefs to bounce back soon.
I know - and can you believe the Titans didn't realize this until like week 11 last year? They gave Dion all the touches - after making Henry share time with DeMarco Murray the seasons before - and then when they finally gave Henry the chance he blew up on TNF and they haven't looked back since. I can't believe it took them so long.
Anyway, no RB plays 100% of snaps... well, except Run CMC.
Right? He's obviously in a better situation here than he was in Miami. They aren't asking much of him, but he's doing it. Sometime you just need to surround an average NFL QB with a good supporting cast and the right coaching.
I'm actually surprised Nick Cannon is still doing this show. Been on for a while.
Only watched that one clip. Tre didn't do much in it, but freestyle rapping is not easy. Hope he brought that personality earlier in the show. He's a funny dude.
This is one of those situations where the coach went against analytics but it was so satisfying and turned out to be OK. I loved watching Vrabel just ramming the ball and bleeding clock for the whole second half and wasn't worried about the Patriots offense at all.
Allen should have kept it. Looked like he decided a little too late. Hate that we got the touchback on the punt. Defense gotta just keep doing their thing.
