The Tennessee defense has kept them in games. Mariota has a couple good games here and there but he would never be able to outduel Luck even they had him tonight. But when you look at their schedules, outside of that win over the Patriots (interesting how both Vrabel and Patricia beat him this year) the Titans beat bad teams. Specifically after getting destroyed by the Colts and Texans, they beat the Jets, Jags, Giants and Redskins before tonight. The Colts have also had a cake schedule but I think their wins were more convincing. They look the part, but we will see how they fare in the playoffs.

Agreed. The defense isn't perfect but a lot of the pieces are there and will continue to gel going into next season. Allen needs to OL and pass catchers and we will be a force. Even if he is never going to be a precision passer he will at worst be an electric playmaker a la Cam and Kap. Good enough to get to the show.

In short, assuming Allen and Edmunds put in the work (and i think they will), this team will be ready to compete next year. Shore up the OL and pass catchers, patch up the depth and we are in good shape. First two games of the season felt like the Jets/NO/LA games last year where there was speculation that McD was losing the team. Turned out to be far from the case. These guys have heart and they are fighters. Just need to make sure we have leaders ready to step in for Kyle and possibly Lorax.

His hand was definitely under the ball and tucked in. The ball did touch the turf but it didn't move from his grasp. That's a catch.
