  1. Really, Zero percent? http://www.syracuse.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2014/12/brandon_spikes_buffalo_bills_happiest_hes_been_in_nfl.html
  2. We are both very intelligent fellows.
  3. I think Orton stays, too. His salary isn't obnoxiously high and he is a terrific #2. Where we disagree is, I think (actually I hope) EJ wins the starting QB job next year. But I wouldn't make it easy for him. I hope the Bills get the best FA QB they can sign, and draft one---at least. And then make the competition for the starter as truly open as it can be. The best case scenario (again, IMO) is for EJ to win that competition, as he is young (but has some starting experience) and has a butt-load of talent. I can't foresee a rookie QB I'd rather see as a starter, nor do I think the Bills can sign a FA worthy of starting next year. I think there are one or two veteran QBs who MIGHT be available who I'd prefer, but I don't see that as likely. But again, I'd make EJ earn it. No handing it to him.
  4. Indeed. I wonder what he would have done if this game meant the playoffs. But he has no history of being the guy in charge before this year.
  5. What does water fowl have to do with this topic?
  6. Why? Do you not think Marrone can find a very good paying HC job elsewhere? If not I think you are deluded. If Michigan was interested, I'm guessing he would be able to find one fairly easily, IMO. And maybe one that actually pays better, as he makes a relatively low salary for a head coach.
  7. I'm with you plenz. I like The Ralph. It's a great place to watch a game. The tailgating is first class and the sightlines are great. Sure it can use some improvements (and since I haven;t been there this year, perhaps those have already been made.) I understand they need more high-end accommodations for high rollers, who really aren't' football fans to begin with. But I find it hard to believe that can't be accommodated in the current structure. I also understand the Ralph will, at some point, be replaced. I just hope they keep the important characteristics (to real fans) of the place in tact. I will gladly accept the notion the Ralph NEEDS to be replaced after Soldier Field and Lambeau are replaced.
  8. What are you smoking? Doug has a 4-year contract. He is in year two if it. I think he has done enough (just look at the record) to deserve year 3. Extension? I can't go for that at this point. But rotating HCs every two/three years is a path to nowhere.
  9. Clearly. At least according to a few on this board. I'm not 100% sold on Marrone, but you HAVE to give him credit for the best Bills season in years.
  10. Yes, let's judge coaches based on their "expressions". If we did that, would Belicheat* even have a job? I hope the Bills can sign Fred, at a reasonable number, for one more year.
  11. I'm guessing they prepared for him. And seeing as how the team, with Garappolo scored 3 points, I'd say they did an OK job of preparing for him.
  12. Can't argue with that. Just a reasoning/logic test would be nice. But this rfk is simply a cowardly troll.
  13. I like George Dickel #12 with a little branch.
  14. Calling this an "idea" is going a bit too far.
  15. I'm looking to the future. as I'm pretty sure you will be gone from the board in short order. Another idiot who offers nothing of value.
  16. Indeed. Most of the stuff on the Rumor Mill is good for conversation, but that's about it. And he (and his staff) don't do a very good job distinguishing a good source from a poor one. Basically, if somebody said it somewhere, it is fodder for a post. They also engage in the worst kind of tortured interpretations of comments made by players and coaches. I mean you can make anything sound like a complaint, or an insult, if you speculate enough. With that said, he has gotten a bit better at distinguishing fact from rumor (perhaps when NBC took over). And I have to admit, I find the site entertaining. A truly guilty pleasure.
  17. You and me both, Cat.
  18. Of course--it's an NFL football game. You play to win. You root for your team to win. Pretty simple, I think,

  20. Post title edited to reflect the new info.
  21. No kidding. I can dream, no?
  22. Not a bad interview by Sal or Doug. But the question about whether, "if the Pats send in Garoppolo does Doug play EJ" had me shaking my head. WTF?
  23. Well at least Johnny Hangover learned to party at home, instead of making a public spectacle of himself the weekend of a game. Baby steps.
