  1. You seem surprised that people do not believe you - that makes me agree with Crap THrowing Monkey (ack!) that you have mental issues. LEts look at the facts: 1) you were wrong about Mike Sherman as HC; 2) you were wrong about Mike Sherman as OC; 3) you were wrong about Jim Bates as DC; 4) you were right about nothing. Therefore, the logical conclusion is that you are wrong about EM. Considering you considerable credibility gap with TBD I would suggest that you give hints as to your source or say where in the organization he/she works; or tell us outright. Even if EM does come to an agreement with the Bills, given the facts listed above, your "correct prediction" is more likely the product of probability (law of large numbers) than it is inside information you have garnered from your "source."
  2. This just in . . . we have been doomed for six years now.
  3. I think Giambra has two more years left.
  4. or the Brooklyn Brawler
  5. holy hijacked thread!
  6. the new drug testing policy was announced today. Get this little excerpt? Is there a wrestler out there where there is not a reasonable suspicion that he/she is a roid head? Maybe Stacy Keebler.
  7. Where has shown that he is average? All I see is him making bone headed decisions at the exact wrong time. This is the definition of a choker. If he has won games on his own I feel safe in guessing he has lost at least twice as many games on his own! Brooks makes the mental mistakes of a rookie QB. So if we are going to have a rookie mentality at QB, we might as well stay with the guy who has the bigger arm and more physically gifted and can get better. Brooks is as good as he will ever get - which is piss-poor.
  8. Great news. I love Bruce's folky stuff. Ghost of Tom Joad is one of the best CD's out there as is Nebraska. His last tour was incredible.
  9. I hate this - because Williams was a bust therefore it must follow that all top OL are busts? OR there is more risk drafting an OL high? B.S. If Ferguson falls to us and we don't take him I will go crazy!!!!!!!! There is no plausable reason for us not to take him. He would be the best player on the board and he fits our greatest need. P.S. It is dumb to have all draft talk in this little forum.
  10. A law degree is one of the most flexible degrees you could obtain. Granted, if you are a trial lawyer for 15 years it may be difficult to shift gears to become an employment discrimination lawyer - but I think it would have more to do with what salary you would command vs. your experience.
  11. LOL! yeah, be a judge. If you work for a government agency, like the NLRB for example, you work 9-5. You just don't get the great financial rewards. However, you trade that for a better quality of life and you get great govt. benefits.
  12. Is it just me or do you all have too much time on your hands - you all need to get laid! Shut your computer off and get out of the house!
  13. On espn.com's Truth&Rumors site the following was reported: If this is true, is there a chance Ferguson will fall to the Bills? Most mock draft's I have seen had the Jets selecting Ferguson. I would be thrilled if we could get Ferguson. He is exactly what we need - a smart, athletic, pass blocking machine.
  14. It is tough. I work in a medium sized firm in BUffalo (small for NYC, Chicago, LA, etc). My wife also has a very demanding job. The general rule is that smaller firms tend to be more "family friendly." But that is a relative term. I work, on average, 55-65 hours a week, but if I have a trial that goes up considerably, depending on the size of the case. There can also be a lot of time away from home.
  15. Go back to your hole you PPP'ers!
  16. For the record - I hated law school (went to UB)! I think it should be mandatory that every law school applicant take at least one year "off" between undergrad and law school. Too many "Biff's and Buffy's" from Greek Row treat law school like an extension of undergrad. Also, law school is like highschool on steroids.
  17. I did not practice for three years after law school. I became a grassroots activist earning little money but loved what I did. I then thought that I had better practice law soon or else I would never do it. I took the bar exam and trust me - take the exam right after you graduate and do not wait! I had to study three times as hard due to my delay. The hard work was worth it because I was in high demand due to the extensive connections I established throughout the community. To legal employers that translates into rainmaking potential. I was also one of the best law students in my class So, doing well in law school will provide you fexibility after you graduate so that you can explore many options.
  18. ANd that makes him different than who? including any one of us.
  19. I would have to say Chuck D - a voice like his is sorely missed currently
  20. I am from watertown and loved Pete's (best pizza in watertown, sorry Art's Jug). Who ownes Pete's now?
  21. how about the goal that was called a no-goal where Gerber made a great grab with his glove, but the glove was clearly in the net. That was the call-play of the game. That came on the heals of the Bertuzi no-goal.
  22. I have heard this somewhere before - - -
  23. BTW, is your signature a quote of what Cheney said right after he shot the guy in the face?
  24. Attempt requires intent. Criminal negligence does not require the mental state of "intent." Huge difference
