Have to work the morning bar shift today. Should be out in time to either catch the game at Buffalo Bros here in Raleigh, NC. Woke up too early though. Been up since 4am. No bueno!
Yes, Brady was getting rid of it quickly on most plays, but there were others where he had Romo time back there. But I don't get how the 4-7 yard outs are there for them ALL DAY long. It's like some madden glitch or something. And every replay I saw had Gronk getting a free release from the line. Get in someone's face and jam them! Super frustrating game.
I've been saying for years, we need robot referees. Flags have become way too discretionary.
And I agree on the magnitude of the penalties called on Buffalo vs New England. On the stat sheet it looks pretty close, but Buffalos penalties are always more of game changing nature.
Only time I think this may apply is after a big play. Sometimes the fans get fired up and get loud for a few seconds too long. But usually it dies down quickly after they realize it. Other than that, it's pretty much common sense.
Interesting points Yolo. Good look. This game is such a wild card. So many new factors. Brady vs Rex's new D. Belichik vs Roman's Offense. Tyrod. I really don't know what to expect at all. I could see either team winning by 1 or 17. Haven't been this amped for a game in a while.. (well probably last Sunday)...
Rivers and Stevie are the perfect combo IMO. But are slightly unorthodox. Crafty route runner, crafty passer. Also, watching Keenan Allen, his game reminds me a lot Stevie's. They both seem to glide in and out of breaks. Just an observation.
I've been thinking about this. I'm pumped to get him back, but what kind of shape is he going to be in? How long after he comes back before he gets into "football shape"? I mean, when's the last time he was able to run?
