It actually quite simple. People view events and write down their thoughts on those events, without putting them through the lens of someone who has a ulterior motive in how they view those events. The quality of the evidence can be called in to question. The "responsibility" can be called into question. People have different opinions, and don't paint themselves as "Bills' fans" first, people second.
