  1. Because it was already mentioned, chico. Pull out, pull out! CJ seems to struggle to get on the field quite a bit. Couldn't beat out the old man. Can't get on the field in NO. To me, if I take a step back and look at CJ's whole career, him averaging 5+ YPA over three seasons doesn't impress me when it's one great year, and two not so great ones (and then a terrible one). It's like Stafford, yeah he had that one great year where you could say he averaged 28 TD's over 4 years, but he had 29 20 and 22 in the other three. It begins to look like an outlier, or a "everything went his way" year. Which, again, isn't nothing, Most players don't even have that year to fall back on. But when do you step back and say it was an outlier?
  2. Not quite. It was more that you could pull your "it's not my money and stop complaining about them trying to improve the team" defense on every single overpriced garbage FA contract ever. Albert came to mind. Suh looks to be going that way. If some fan said "Suh is a non-factor, it was a bad move to give him half of South Beach for him to free-lance and suck" you could come right back with, "it's not my money and stop complaining about them trying to improve the team." That's why you'd be great. You can't lose. They're trying and you aren't bankrolling them.
  3. What time did CJ miss in 2011 - 2013? 1 game? Vs. McCoy who missed 5 in that time? What's next, comparing Trent's 2008 campaign to Brady's?
  4. NFL.com doesn't do those categories by position, IIRC. It's also with McCoy missing time due to injury.
  5. The Albert Haynesworth defense!
  6. He had a good to great year. He just couldn't ever come close to replicating it.
  7. You'd be a great Dolphins fan. Or Redskins.
  8. I think he has world class speed and quickness, with poor vision, poor blocking ability, and poor football IQ. If he's a step slow, he's one of the worst RB's in the NFL. Yes. I think he's a glorified PR and KR guy.
  9. Or the emperor has no clothes.
  10. I think it could be argued that Harvin has been a bigger factor for the Bills this year than McCoy. I wouldn't call him "not seeing" his contract, nothing.
  11. But CJ finally got to a system that was supposed to make him look good again and he's still MIA.
  12. It was 2012. It was so long ago, you can't even remember. Borderline MVP for a 6-10 team?
  13. No reason to believe a RB with 800 carries in the last 3 years might have his body start to break down.
  14. So pencil you down for 5 years then?
  15. Year 4 of "just wait, he's gonna be awesome." Going for the 4 peat Ryan?
  16. Yep. Houston may regret shipping Fitzy.
  17. What are the Saints supposed to do? Spiller is 53 yards away from the nearest defender, talk about scheming to get him in space.
  18. No no, I meant Badol has had an unpopular opinion, then we've heard, "time will tell," and he proved to be correct or at least have a very good case after that time has elapsed. None of this necessarily means that's he's on the money at this point, but I respect his knowledge enough to give it some gravitas.
  19. Mobility?
  20. Maybe we should make a "Tracking CJ Spiller's 2k" topic redux.
  21. Sounds like we might not get a year like last year then.
  22. Is that what he's on pace for?
  23. He got the second most guaranteed money after a down year and after being traded for an injury-prone LB with one good season. And it seems to have not worked out, so far.
  24. Well we've certainly heard that before.
  25. It's certainly a decent excuse. Not sure how it justifies his contract. I like Shady, and I think he's a great player. However, Badol has been very consistent in his opinion of him. He said he'd be on a decline and I haven't seen any proof otherwise.
