  1. It was over half a decade ago. I won a spelling bee 20 years ago, but I ain't walking around like a human Dictionary.
  2. I don't know about that. He seemed nothing but supportive until his second season. When EJ got worse than he was as a rookie. Maybe that was in part a failing of the staff, but I don't think Marrone was very unhappy with EJ as a starter until 2014. Around the same time a large portion of fans recognized his regression. Except we didn't have the access to practices that Marrone did.
  3. You're probably better off starting a new thread than twisting this one into a tangential point.
  4. Probably not in the Dwight Freeney thread.
  5. Are you telling me that you're backing it up with just other folks' opinions? And they invalidate other opinions? What.
  6. Listenbee has the most, probably. By virtue of being a nobody in the NFL.
  7. Most of them don't even have that.
  8. I'm not even really criticizing them in this case. My point is that a team like the Rams and other bottom feeders would look at an FA like Clay and say, "we can get a top 10 TE for top 3 money, is that going to be worth it?" And they would decide, "no," because they have holes elsewhere and having all that money tied up in 1 player won't be the last push they need to make a postseason run. Whereas a team like the Bills may be saying, "we already have a pretty good gaggle of talent with a few holes and we feel we are a playmaker or two away. What is better for us for the next 2-3 years, signing 2 middling FA's competing for jobs or overpaying for a good player?" And in their mind, overpaying for Clay is worth it. See the difference?
  9. Let's hear another conspiracy theory.
  10. I'm sorry but this is inaccurate. A team like the Saints is operating top to bottom very differently than a team like the Rams.
  11. If you're starting a thread calling out other posters, does that qualify as "manners?" I wish you felt this way about how you reacted to emoulds. Is that your definition of treating someone with respect?
  12. I don't think you see the money thrown around at middling stars like McCoy and Clay if the Bills didn't think they were a few bounces from making a run.
  13. I actually read the article and didn't see Zuck say "unbiased" or "news."
  14. Where is Facebooks claim to unbias? Must've missed that.
  15. I thought Oriental just meant pertaining to the East. That's on me.
  16. I think it could be very easily argued that calling someone appearing Oriental "Chinese" is racist. Like the definition. It's insulting because you're making an assumption of their race based on how they look, no?
  17. I can't promise you'll be safe, you Custer. Quick question though. If I walked around calling every NA a "Seminole," wouldn't a large majority get mad/offended? Does that make it racist and /or derogatory?
  18. That's quite a fine line, no? B-man's article is all but condemning Zuckerberg for not having a conservative VP advisor. Would he be posting articles about some conservative company not have a lefty advisor and VP? This is no different from attacking some wedding store for not baking a gay cake, IMO.
  19. The same time I'm there every Monday. 9:30.
  20. I need to see these incriminating PM's more than I need air.
  21. Why can't Facebook have a bias? They aren't the US gov.
