  1. I say we keep the scoring. When QB's have crazy good games, they should put up crazy points. Ditto for RB's or WR's.
  2. The same two who believed he would be a day one starter. Are we allowed to form opinions that clash with the FO or do we kowtow to their collective below .500 record? He would've but he chose not to. Okay. So he didn't. So he wasn't a day one starter.
  3. Shaq had an injury, was an injury risk of needing surgery, and we know now he couldn't play at the time. Not very different. Calling Shaq a "starter" at this juncture seems premature. Maybe potential starter makes more sense. Just like Clowney as a rook.
  4. All 3 of those players have started games in the NFL. For the Bills specifically. Ragland and Shaq haven't. Pick a comparison that applies. Like when Clowney missed a whole bunch of time as a rookie did they call him a starter sidelined? No.
  5. You would think that after the declaration that our first 3 picks would be day 1 starters, and that being quite less than accurate, we wouldn't be so quick to assume production from an already injured rookie.
  6. I don't think we do. I am really just separating what I'm discussing. It may be true that Dareus is truly seeking help, and really needs this. It may be true that he's struggling with his life. It may also be true that he isn't, he just enjoys the ganj and is going to rehab to reduce his suspension. Rather than rehash those basic truths every time I post, in this context, me and Doc have been discussing that if he is just going to rehab for show, then going out to the bars the night of a game he got sent home from, may be counterproductive.
  7. I'm in! Time to spank Rob's House and TYTT harder than Beerball.
  8. Doc is operating under the impression the rehab is just for show and that pot rehab is a joke. I'm merely conceding to his opinion. If you'd like to discuss the virtue of rehab for MD's health and future, I'm sure there are other brave souls who'd oblige you.
  9. And we all know if they looked bad, other folks would say it's only preseason. So what have we learned, really?
  10. I'm not arguing should. I'm arguing will. Marcel Dareus, just days after his suspension announcement, his "apology", and his decision to better himself by going to rehab, gets a Yahoo! story of him partying downtown. Does that affect his ability to reduce his suspension? Does it maybe cast doubt on whether he is actually taking his drug abuse seriously?
  11. I think he meant he didn't make it to TC, so we don't know how he performed relatively to our other players.
  12. When they were the clear offensive ROY on your team, led the team in TD's and are very cheap to keep, maybe more. Just because JWill outplayed him at camp does not mean he would outplay him during the year. Again, if an RB goes down between now and week 4, and we have to activate Boom Herron or some other hack body, this will look like the wrong move. Darues didn't "own up" to anything. He recited the same tired words he did two years ago and hit the Chip Strip to get photos taken. He also showed up fat last season. Dareus has 3 strikes and is still here.
  13. Do you think the poor optics will affect his ability to reduce his suspension? Does it maybe cast doubt on whether he is actually taking his drug use seriously?
  14. Once he's back, you could cut him or maybe something unforeseen happens. Last year we were stacked at RB and Boom Herron still started a game. If JWill breaks his leg week 1, it'd be nice to have someone competent in the wings, right?
  15. Karlos didn't count against the 53 while suspended. No one "had to go."
  16. Rex also was effusive of Ty Powell.
  17. I think this may be the most boom or bust of a season we have ever had. We will go 4-12 or 10-6. Neither would overly shock me.
  18. Neither of you have any information, proof or evidence. It's a clear parallel.
  19. Hardly. 2013, 2014 and 2015 had no cuts year 1.
  20. Not trying to flame, but pot meet kettle?
  21. By this logic, Karlos may also be suicidal. Why are we ignoring that?
  22. Same bad decision making and an inability to "keep their heads down" immediately following an incident.
  23. Shades of Johnny here.
  24. I am asking if you can provide one player, literally or figuratively, who has been run out of town by social media. It's an honest question. I see the sentiment posted quite a bit and I can't think of a single player. This makes me think it is a unfounded sentiment unless there is someone I am forgetting. Who am I forgetting?
