  1. Well, he's in a higher bracket so he's paying "less" to reduce his taxes... Aren't you also limited to deducting 50% of your income? If Bill 'went to the limit' and no further that would mean that he must have made $58B in the last 6 years (based on having donated $29B)....unless of course he gave most of that after August of last year....still an impressive amount of money to make in a 6 year period...and yet his net worth hovers at $50B.... Yes, the guy is evil incarnate as a businessman but face it, he is doing a lot of good with the money, and pledging to do more....give it up folks, find another target...
  2. The snakes? So how much of that money is the Keif donating?
  3. I'd move it to the football forum, but this is about as off-the-wall as it gets...
  4. Hey, finally someone got the answer right to this latest Rudy-esque volley... The minute he signs the tender he has to start attending practices, etc, risking injury, etc, so you don't sign until you have to....
  5. Donating half your net worth, and pledging to do more, yeah there's a good target. IT'S REAL TO ME!
  6. Maybe that's what his library foundation does, but that's not the crux of the primary charitable organization (the one he jumpstarted with a $5B donation in 1999). According to this article, much of what is donated is spent preventing/curing diseases that effect children...
  7. Ummm, camps are closed. You can find video and summary by Chris Brown at buffalobills.com
  8. You are kidding, right? I mean how is letting your "starter of the future" get creamed on every other play for a season the right plan to build for the future? Or was the idea that we'd get a top 10 pick in 2006 that he could then use on Vince Young? After all, he was due to spend yet another first round pick on a QB...
  9. Yeah, because he wouldn't feel a need to have the cap money to upgrade either line...
  10. You only get that if you correctly guess not only the outcomes but the final scores of all 16 games.

  12. Oh, I've never heard that before.
  13. sez the crap throwing monkey...
  14. If you really don't care, then why bother reading, let alone responding?
  15. Not only that but he directly addressed much of the speculation going on, based on his discussions with the Governor. Talked to allay the fears of "how much will he swindle the taxpayers for?/Oh, look he's gunning for a new stadium" (he said a new stadium would solve nothing). Talked to the potential sale/move rumors (move -> not in his lifetime but beyond that, who knows?). Pick any one of the 60 threads that have been started since the news of his meeting with the Governor and you'll probably find a direct response from him to that.
  16. You'll be happy to know that Kraft is solving your problem. See, the Bills aren't doomed after all.
  17. Yup there are those who would sit at the table and cross their arms angrily because their Oreo is stuck at the bottom of the glass and there are those who would go get a spoon out of the kitchen and scoop it out...
  18. Teams are given their schedules in advance of the unveiling. They are asked not to leak it, but some do...looks like not as many this year as last year (I think we had more than half the schedule together before the announcement...).
  19. Linky Thingy So that over-abundant $36M in operating income isn't enough?
  20. HFB KRC, Commie Bastage.
  21. That's $20M in cap ago...are you sure TV revenues increased by $20M or will some of that $20M eat into the OI?
  22. When you're 33 years old you'll be happy to pocket more money this year, and worry about next year...next year. I don't think it was as much about comparing $$ with other receivers on the team rather than "you're not touching the $6M you promised to give me."
  23. If he had played with his current contract terms. The point was the Bills wanted him to take less than that. Even so, as long as his salary this year is higher than $1M he'll walk away with more money this year on the Texans than if he had stayed with the Bills, even at his current offer. The thing about it is that players who decide that his original team's offer was "insulting" will very frequently end up making less or at best breaking even going elsewhere. But it's a matter of "pride" to them, that they won't go "grovelling" back to their original team for those "insulting" terms. Bridges were burned, Bills weren't budging on their "insulting" offer. No way Moulds would come back. Get over it.
  24. Congrats! As I always say to people just after they've had their first: If you think time's flying now, it just slipped into a whole new gear. Welcome to the "baby gear," where a single night can sometimes feel like a week yet the weeks and months fly by....
