  1. What difficulty setting?? Im playing All Pro. As delightful as those stats would be, realism is important as well.
  2. I have the PC version and I like it. My first seaon so far is eeirely similar to the real life Bills season so far, at least after my first season game. My preseason was 0-3-1. The first game was so much like the Bills first real game with the Jags. I held the lead for most of the game in a defensive struggle 17-10 when the Jags got the ball with just over two minutes left. I felt okay about it because my d handled them nicely all game. I was playing a 4-3 then Nickle combo all game and it worked great but then, since I figured Leftwitch was going to go exclusively to the air I went exclusively to the Nickel. Well Leftwitch started completing passes and converting third downs all the way inside my ten. Then they got a first down at my one and my D held them for three downs until fourth down on the last play of the game and Fred Taylor took it in. Then, to my surprise, doesnt Del Rio go for the two point conversion and the win? And do not, in true Bills style, the d gives up the two pointer for the loss? I know it happened differently in the real game but hell it is kinda the same thing. Anyway meazza Bledsoe wasnt too bad in the first game. I think he was 14 or 29 and 196 yds. 2tds and 0 ints. I think he did get sacked 4 times though. YOu may want to turn down the int slider in you ai menu. Madden tends to go overboard on pics for some reason. At least thats the way it is in the PC version.
  3. And actually that playoff game was one of the best games RJ ever had with us. If if wasnt for the stupid call by the Bills coaching staff to squib it we and RJ would have won that game. The comparison between RJ and Drew isnt ridiculous at all. Its not a real big stretch to think that he may actually be better at this point.
  4. Im starting to think all we have is stevestojan to get together
  5. Well, as bad as the Bills are you should be checking out the San Diego/Jets game. Chargers look pretty weak as well. Lots of stupid penalties and decisions by Bree's.
  6. Sorry. Did'nt see two other similar threads. I guess everyone is thinking the same thing.
  7. Your right Brandon you dont need a $400 card to play the game. But to "play it well" thats in the eye of the beholder. My previous card was a 9800Pro and I wasnt satisfied with the framerates. In fact, this game brought that card to its knees. And there is a big difference in screen resolutions. 1600x1200 isnt "ridiculous" its much cleaner, smoother. As I said earlier, im a enthusiast(geek?) so these things matter to me. BTW if you get the right video card Far Cry or Doom3 will come bundled with it. I know have two copies of Far Cry because it came with my evga 6800GT.
  8. Should and does. But I guess im a gaming enthusiast. PC's and pc games are a hobby. Its the only thing I spend my spare cash on really. To me the difference a high end video card makes is very much worth it. Night and day compared to a console. Yes it certainly is expensive but if your a car enthusiast you spend alot on say, rims at $400 a piece. Or a avid Bills fan would spend $1000 or more to go on a roadie to Florida to watch thier team. So I view computer components the same way. Whatever does it for you I guess.
  9. If you have the hardware this is an amazing graphical experience. Even if the gameplay is nothing special, the eye candy makes the game very much worth the time. I just bought a new video card(eVGA 6800GT) and it allows me to play in high detail at a very high resolution. This provides for a gaming experience that is light years beyond what any XBox, PS2 and so on could provide.
  10. Yea that was pretty well done. I like Jack Del Rio now.
  11. Have a bunch. The Osbournes Season 1, Season 2, Season 2 1/2. The Man Show: Season 1 Son of The Beach (underrated) Season 1,2,3,4 South Park (definitely my favorites) Joe Schmo All have fades as far as I know
  12. A new car? It better be a Nissan 350Z or a sweet F150 Lightning to justify listening to that crap for a hour. Just the thought of being trapped in a studio with Oprah and her minions scares the crap out of me.
  13. Well this may seem trite, but the tendency is to think the worst and you accept that as being the likely outcome. More often than not the worst is not reality. Keep that thought unitl you have a educated diagnosis.
  14. Agreed. One of the things that make the NFL unwatchable at times. Between that and the endless commercials.
  15. Man Ive always liked Steve as a announcer. I think he is a natural for TV. I didnt listen closely to yesterdays game because I was at the sons roller hockey tournament and watched the game on Tivo. As you would imagine, already knowing the result, I skimmed through the game and quit watching in the 3rd quarter. Steve never offended me but like I say I wasnt listening well. I really like Don Criqui as a play by play guy though.
  16. Cherry is the Howard Stern of Canada. Say's what he wants with no fear of CBC discipline. He is the only personality on their stevestojantty network that makes money for them. He is a grass roots, realistic guy that I would like to think reflects the true thoughts of Canada. Not sure he does though
  17. Any schmuck can hedge a bet like that. To the democrats its just a political football, abeit a distasteful one. Canada cant say it supports the troops but not the war. That !@#$in ridiculous. Either your in or your out. A typically political way to gay out on a tough decision. Sometimes, when your a close friend, you have to back that friend even when its, from your perspective, questionable. I know I do that all the time in life with wife and friends. I will back them because that is what close friends/family/ spouses do. Why the hell wouldnt Canada back a country that has stuck and protected them all theses years? Lets face it, the reason Canada can afford all the cushey social programs is due, partly at least, to the fact that they have been under the military umbrella of the US prior to the Cold War and after till now.
  18. Makes me too angry to watch it. Me, I would have dropped a half dozen nukes on the entire mideast area and be done with the insanity over there. Its the only way.
  19. Im Canadian and lived there for 40years and now a permanent resident of the US. I know the people and the general psyche of Canada. The dedcisions and actions of the governmentof Canada after 9/11 was a true embarassment to me. The US has been a true friend and when all the US wanted political support for the Iraq invasion ,Canada and that retard Chretien, pussied out. It was then that I decided to go from my Permanent Resident Card to full US citizenship.
  20. hey,Hey, HEY! How about being SENSITIVE to us people who are dual citizens??? I live in the US and will have citizenship shortly but still love my hockey roots in Canada. Screw you a-hole!
  21. It was too close for comfort but still the good guys won.!!!! And I almost cried when I saw the 9/11 patches. GO TEEEEAM CANADA!!!!! oh yeah GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
