Good point. Of course if I could actually BE with Sara Evans I probably could care a less about the Sabres. But that isnt really happening so I guess I will take the best of both.

Sounds like your screen resolution has changed someway. Right click on the desktop and go to properties. Then go to Settings and then set the resolution to something you like. Possbily 1024x768 or even lower if you want.

How does it stack up to the origninal Mark? Im a big fan of the first one. Classic film.

Sure will. Hey dont get too many chances to sit back and relax. Had company xmas party(bowling. Pretty fun) and wife is gone xmas shopping. Nice chance to sit back, crank some tunes, drink some mexican beer and enjoy some hockey. Godsmack now btw.

Have the sound turned down on the Sabre game(listening to tunes in the background. Sara Evans. Not a country fan per say but this chick has it friggen goin on!) and that was a nice goal by Daniel. Sabres look good. All kinds of talent out on the ice there tohight. Preping for Sharks vs Caps as San Jose marches toward the Stanley Cup!

Sorry. Im in different kind of pool and I was thinking in those terms. Given the choices, you have to take the Jets. KC is a wrecking ball of a offence. jmho

Ralph has to go. Ultimitley, it's his responsibility to exercise judgment while hiring gm's, coaches, and generaly calling the shots. For years we have got a steady diet of noob or never were coaches. This includes the great exalted Marv(that never won sweet d1ck all) who was a sub .500 coach when hired. He is the one who is a position to change the direction of the Bills but he never does. We still get crap coaches. We still don't have big powerful lines. Ralph has to go so we can get a owner that is brighter.

Advice on a decent hotel near the airport
Dante replied to Dante's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks guys. Makes it easier. Hoping to catch a Sabre game as well while were there. Atlanta is one of the teams in town when we are in the area(Islanders is the other). Thrashers would be a better game though I think. -
Guys, guys, guys. I think the Bills coaching situation of the last few seasons is giving you a distorted, desperate perception of other coaches. Although I have much respect for Wade as a DC Im not close to being sold on him as a head coach.

Hi people. Flying into Buffalo with wife and son to visit family in Canada next week. Thing is, our flight does not get in until late(almost midnight I think) so we decided to put up in a hotel for the night. Is there a decent place near the airport? Thanks!!!!

So could any back. Im a big believer that you dont even really need a "stud" running back. But only as long as you have a superior offensive line. Thats not to say you dont need a capable one though. You do need one that is half way intelligent and came make quick decisions and adjust. But willis doesnt seem to have this capability. He is anything but quick. He does seem very powerful though and I could see him being effective between the tackles with a good OLine. He would do the trick for us if this were the case. But personally I dont think the guy is a great back.jmho

I agree totally East. Even on the Bills best day Magahee never has impressed me so much that I would consider him among the best in the league. I understand how Willis may think that. I mean, overblown opinions of themselves seem to be a trait among NFL atheletes. Willis always has looked slow and unimaginative to me with or without good line play.
-
What is there to know? Its more than obvious isnt it? Poor management decisions(at least personel wise) both at field level and administration. The latter being the most important. Without proper management the Bills have no future. No reason to care.

How about Steve Mariuchi for Head Coach ?
Dante replied to Fan in San Diego's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Im for any coach that has some sort of proven NFL record. That would be refreshing for the Bills. They insist on going cheap and hiring noob head coaches who cut thier teeth learning with the Bills. -
The depressing thing is, a bad team found a way to beat us.

Far as Im concerned it was over after the pathetic Raider performance. I saw all I had to see at that game.

I dont think it had anything to do with Noronen. Whomever said the Sabres would come out flat was right on the money. The Sharks played one of their best games of the year on the other hand. Thortons addition fills a couple major holes that San Jose has had the last few seasons. A consistent power center. Someone who can win faceoffs. Someone who can lead the powerplay. What was strange about this game is that it also somehow, made Nabokov come around to his old solid dependable self. The entire team seemed to be energized(or scared) by the trade and I really hope it continues. To bad it had to come at the expense of the Sabres because I really do have a soft spot for them. Even though those uni's last night were horrible! Anyway, should be interesting to see what happens tonight in Toronto. Only thing that pisses me off is that Direct Tv will be giving us the local Fox Sports Bay Area telecast. Wont be getting the usual HNIC broadcast that I usually get for Leaf games. Gonna miss Cherrys take on the whole deal. Oh well. Can get that on CBC's website after the game.

Go Sharks!

Im pretty optimistic. But its hard to be that way looking at next year when I dont know about our team management. If you have crappy decisions being made its hard to have hope.

As a regular watcher of the Sharks I think I can give you a pretty good assesment of the trade. Or at least the Shark players. Honestly, the best all around player in this trade is Primeau. He has deceptive speed. Good consistent hustle and has a huge desire to win. If you see him play Thursday for the Bruins(vs the Sens) he should be sporting a scar on his nose and two shiners. He got that when a puck hit him in the face a week or so ago. On the very same shift(about 5 seconds later) he collected himself and scored on a great shot. Sturm is a good player but seems to disappear for a few games then he will reappear for a game or two. He does have talent though and will use the body on occasion as well. Stuart has been a disappointment this season. He seemed to be coming along nicely the last two years but seems to have regressed. He's been making alot of mistakes and it seems like his head just isnt in the game. Almost like there is something else going on in his life. But the potential certainly is there. As a Shark fan I am delighted in the deal and it also explains why the Sharks were dormant in the free agent market after the lockout ended. Thorton is a perennial all star and Team Canada member. No better accomplishment than that, aside from the Stanley Cup. This also looks like a typical Bruin move though. They save about 2 million a year in this deal. Man thier cheap
