Also for your consideration, and I hope it was a one game aberration, but Gilmore looked horrible and seemed to be exposed against Washington. His free pass has been revoked. We may have a REAL problem at CB heading into next offseason, which is a shame considering we've got two very high picks invested out there at CB1 and CB2.

I think his point was a select few armchair GMs around here were howling that the great UDFA Rogers would get scooped up "within seconds" if we were ever to "expose" him, thus necessitating his lock on an active roster spot. Obviously that did not happen, as you said he cleared waivers, quite easily, and even went to Miami and didn't get anything. Best of luck to him though in his future NFL endeavors.
