The only thing consistent about Powell is his history of inconsistency, and coming up lame when you need him the most. Yesterday wasn't the first (or second, or third) time he shanked when we really needed him to shift field position. And his average looks better than it should. Damn statistics. Yesterday for instance he was punting from midfield and boomed it right into the end zone. Are you telling me an NFL punter with half the field to work with can't place it in the field of play to at least give the coverage guys a semblance of a chance? Yeah, no.

Wood's first holding call was legit, he basically tackled the guy. The 2nd one was a phantom call. He did nothing wrong on that block.

Was thinking the same thing about Woods. I think Chandler is just now really recovering from his injury; he looks much more fluid. I didn't agree on the personal foul call on Leonard hitting a defenseless receiver. Looked to me like the receiver was in the process of making a catch and Leonard just plain smacked him cleanly trying to separate him from the ball.

I hate to pick nits on a victory, but I was very disappointed in our punter today. Not the first time he's come up lame in key situations either. And, unlike our franchise player, I admired the grit many players showed today fighting thru injury and pain. Spiller, FJ, AW come to mind. I believe Mario and Dareus were playing thru sprains as well.

The wings aren't bad either, for outside of Buffalo wings. They have Labbatt's on tap. All good. Just down the street is Delilah's, owned by a former WNYer, also a nice Bills bar. Gets a little too crowded though, as in shoulder to shoulder and can't make a move for the restroom when needed
