I think he has some talent. I have no idea whether he will develop into the kind of QB that they wanted when they drafted him. I actually feel sorry for the guy given the number of offensive coordinators he has been through in college and the NFL.

I believe George and Lou Saban were good friends.

I remember that season and playoff game in SD well. That was a very gutsy performance by Fergy.

It seems like many of you guys will get your wish. For the Bills sake, I hope that they are able to trade him out of the division. If he ends up on a team like NE, it might be a case of watch out what you wish for . . . . I fully expect him to do well for another team. I also predict that when this is pointed out, the bashers will say (as they have done with Peters), why are we talking about players who do not play for the Bills. I have been one of his biggest defenders on this board. If he is gone, it will be interesting to see what he can do on a team that actually wants him on the team (and presumably will know how to use him).

Thanks. My temp was at 102.9. My seven year old had 103. Our temps are much better now. I had the worst case of the chills a couple of days ago. That returned the next day. That is when I got checked out. I have been on the Tamiflu since then. My son is not on the Tamiflu because it was beyond 48 hours for him and my wife did not want to risk the side effects for kids with the Tamiflu. Thank God, he seems to be pretty stable now. We are both staying home tomorrow.

Try googling Clausen and Hummer for starters. Also watch some of his games. The guy is a prick who thinks that he is God's gift to the QB position. While I do not "worship" ND (or OSU and Penn State) like a lot of people from Buffalo, I have no problem takng guys from any of those schools that I think would be good for the Bills. Golden Tate is a guy I like as well as some of the ND linemen. Relatively speaking (relative to the talent that they play against), ND's line is much better than the Bills.

Totally agree. It also pisses me off when I read some of the bashers call Trent a wimp even though he puts himself in harm's way trying to make plays for our team.

I am not ready to say he is a bust, but he definitely looks like a reach. Oher would look really good playing for the Bills right now -- especially given all of the injuries we have had at right tackle.

Simple. I would love to see the guy that we have play behind a line that is not ranked among the worst in the league. That might happen once Bell, Wood, and Levitre get some experience and Butler comes back. How many tackles have we had play so far this year that have no business playing as a result of injuries. You just want to see what you want with Trent. I think he is fine. As for Clausen, you might want to do some research on him. The guy is a world class !@#$. Every time I see him make a bad play on the field, he seems to want to blame someone else. He also has what I refer to as Notre Dame inflation - because he is at ND, people give him a higher value than what he deserves. Unless the guy matures in a way that I do not think he is capable of doing, I could see him being a cancer on the Bills.

The STs have been horrible for the most part. The penalties also have not helped at all.

Even if QB were a priority (which I do not believe it is), Clausen would be a horrible choice. He is definitely not someone who I would want on the Buffalo Bills.

How many people on this board were bitching and moaning that that the Bills wasted a pick on a DB when we chose him? How many times did we read that it was a typical DJ draft (not meant by them as a compliment)? Maybin on the other hand -- I am still keeping my fingers crossed, but he does appear to be a reach. Time will tell whether he was worth such a high pick.

That was a bad reversal. I thought it was a catch. It looked like he perhaps purposely let go of the ball with his right hand so that he could brace himself with his right hand while holding the ball with his left hand. If they called it the other way to begin with, I could understand replay not overturning the original call -- but I do not understand how there was enough evidence to overturn the original call here.

Oh brother. Trent was 5 for 5 and playing well. He got knocked out trying to make a play, and the bashers will be out in full force saying he should lose his job.
