In case you've forgotten in your haste to be exercise your nasty gene, the discussion was about kids and their political opinions and where they learned them. I happened to be very aware of politics at age 12 because it was so in my household. And I cared. Just because you may not have known at that age (and to this day) doesn't mean I shouldn't. I can imagine what you were doing at the same age - didn't they tell you that causes pimples and blindness?

Your opinion only. Why is it that changing leaders THERE changes nothing but here it does? Again, Bush doesn't scare them. It's pretty obvious we can't even win the peace in a little pissant country like Iraq. Why be scared of us? How many times have we tried to take Fallujah against the "handful" of resistance? Hmmmmm? Then again, why change horsemen mid-Apocalypse?
-
story "Iraqi troops fired wildly on civilian vehicles, killing at least 14 people, witnesses and hospital officials said. " Not that I blame them after the slaughter of last weekend. What a friggin mess.
-
Now that's absolute wrong. It's "MURKIN" not american.
-
That was a good one, I'll hand you that. Two points for you.
-
Then to follow your logic, i.e. killing the leader (OBL) won't end the war on terror, you've just reinforced OBL's point in the video that it doesn't matter who leads here either.
-
I'm surprised you constipated neocons aren't freaking out over the implication that OBL saw F/911 ... making statements of surprise that Bush just sat there in the classroom while under attack. Were you thinking no-one noticed?

You probably wouldn't know a lemming if it bit you on the ass! But you sure talk about them a lot - you got a thing for lemmings ?
-
A witty comeback implies there was something worthwhile stated in the first place. Personal attacks or various iterations of "mine's bigger than yours", which is pretty much everything here these days, don't warrant it.

Nope. I stand a better chance of getting killed on the way home than getting blowed up by Al Qaeda. I am not buying duct tape. I am not avoiding travel. And I am not going to cave in to a bunch of cowards and bullies.

Thanks for your usual fine contribution to a conversation. You are a credit to your race, whatever THAT is. Human, it's not.

If all leadership entailed was the ability to yell at people Al Sharpton would be God by now.

Well if you notice the source of course they're not going to include THOSE. However there is a photo where he appears to be holding a cigarette. He was born to play opposite Raygun in Bedtime for Bonzo or whatever that was...

I went to public school and I disliked Nixon. So if I had stayed in St. ___'s I'd have been a Republican? My dad voted for Nixon when I was 12 and I was pretty pissed off about it, but I got over it. Public school wasn't to blame. When I was 14 the only teacher who expressed a political view was rabidly in favor of Vietnam and not hesitant to inject his opinions every chance he got. It happened we studied SE Asia that year and he and I got into it. Unforunately for him I had statistics and he ended up losing and apologizing in front of the class. We stayed friend until his death. I read the paper, watched the news and drew my own conclusions. Maybe Melissa's daughter is doing the same.

Nice misquote. I bet you either heard it on FAUX or read it on Drudge. Because he also said Kerry couldn't protect us either. Policy, not presidents, are what make us targets. And how would you know what's in his mind? Are you also a fanatical murdering bastard?
-
No, he wasn't wearing a skirt. And he wants you to know it's YELL leader, not cheerleader! here you go!
-
Uh, probably because it can't be used TO KILL OUR TROOPS. Duh.

Ok, so now that we know the HMX WAS there

OH yeah and Molly Ivins is going to follow to talk about how Bush conspired to ________. Both VERY nonpartisan and believable sources. Puhlease. -
Never underestimate the determination of a people with nothing, and nothing to lose. And what's so SWEET about this whole thing? That all those embedded reporters who were supposed to come back with images to move the masses to patriot fervor, to shock with world with our power and might...are the source of this latest documentation of Bush's continued incompetence. ahhhh justice.
-
link Oh I'm sure they ALL do it. Like those 80,000 people who turned out to see Kerry and Springsteen today...I'm sure it was really only 79,599 and the rest were Kerry staffers and their families, not REAL voters...

They're already saying "well yeah but we found and destroyed a lot of explosives"....as if 760,000 pounds of explosives is nothing. Here's a link to some photos and the video. Hard to deny your eyes. In particular my eyes bugged out as I recognized my friend's son - or someone who's his spitting image - from the 101st Airborne, who I intend to contact if I can for a little more info. I'm pretty sure it's him, he got out sometime this past spring so the timing was right. link -
Good point. I imagine a guy by that name checking in at his local Al Qaeda training camp would have aroused a little suspicion.

Oh it gets better. I heard Bush's emissary Rudy Guiliani on the radio, defending His Smirkiness. Rudy in all his outspoken genius actually had the NERVE to say that maybe it was the military's fault because they didn't look and they didn't secure! Now I thought Rudy did a lot of good things for NYC and he did a good job during 9/11 holding the city together...which is why it's all the more sickening that he'd suck it up and say crap like to excuse the inexcusable. ]

So if Russia took it.... And Russia endorses Bush.... Then does that make Bush an Evildoer? You are after all judged by the company you keep? Gee I thought PootyPoot was our friend?!
-
Bush himself sets a fine example, never admitting a mistake and when pressed blaming others (those nasty generals didn't TELL him that he needed more troops!). So, if people are looking for a scapegoat why not blame him? It's stupid, but it works for Bush.
