  1. You check out the guns on Reed? The guy looks like he could still play! Maybe he could be our 3rd WR this year...
  2. Definitely the Patriots...they just NEED Bledsoe back since they've done so poorly without him
  3. When he signed with the Colts on ESPN Radio he said that he felt that Gruden put too much of the blame on him and criticized him too harshly for missing kicks that even the best NFL kicker would struggle to make. I just got the impression he did not like his former coach from that interview.
  4. Hey, because of that one vote, Pochman is beating Lindell
  5. They didnt do it though...nowhere in that article do they make a definite statement about franchising Alexander.
  6. Gramatica is interesting, and I almost had forgotten about him this offseason. He dominated at kicking in the NFL until the last two years when his production really dropped. Was it because of his dislike of Gruden like he said? Or did he just tank out?
  7. Just curious to see what everyone thinks about our kicking situation this season...As my subtitle was trying to say, this poll does not include Adam Vinateiri since he is 99.9% sure to get a new deal with the Patriots or be franchised by them.
  8. Yes because Kyle Boller and JP Losman, having the same number, are exactly the same person.
  9. Henry Rollins (from Black Flag) told a great story at one of his spoken word shows that I went to. He was at the Osbourne's New Years party since Ozzy invited him, and MTV of course was there filming everything because of the Osbournces TV show. He was just being his usual anti-social self but did talk to a few other celebs and the cameras of course filmed him talking to other people. He was later told that he'd be "edited" out of the scenes because MTV fans wouldnt recognize who he was or what he was doing there, despite the fact he was involved in some pretty influential music. Just kinda funny that apparently MTV takes a very 1984ish approach and eliminates people that they dont view as trendy or hip.
  10. "You can guess what happens next..." "He fixes the cable?"
  11. Westbrook is a homeless man's Thurman Thomas
  12. I'd take that deal in a heartbeat. The problem with the Eagles is that many of them are still content with Westbrook.
  13. How much will it take to lure Frank Reich out of retirement?
  14. Ben Hamilton would be an amazing move by TD to make our O-Line stronger. He's still very young, I think he's only been in the NFL 4 years, but the guy has started the last 3 seasons somewhere on Denver's O-line, which shows to me great versatility. Pretty damn good to me.
  15. I totally agree with you...I had to explain who Jonas Jennings even was to some people who I consider very knowledgable about the NFL. My main concern is getting Pat Williams signed because he WILL get a lot of interest through the NFL if he makes it to free agency and I dont want to see us ruin a good thing. Some decent O-Lineman are available this offseason, thats for sure...cant wait to go shopping.
  16. Funny, but I brought my girlfriend to her first ever NFL game against the Steelers this year, and she echoed that sentiment. She's not a huge NFL fan, but she asked me "Why does Bledsoe always look so confused? I thought you told me he had 10 years of experience".
  17. Isnt this the same news that has been reported by Mort on ESPN and other journalists for the past month or so?
  18. Awseome game...its a shame that there is no NHL season because that game really got me in the mood to watch some hockey. Franchise mode is very solid, plus the scouting and free agency modes are really improved from last year. The gameplay is amazing though, it is the most fun I've had playing a hockey game since I used to spend hours on Blades of Steel when I was a kid. For 20 bucks, you cant lose.
  19. I dont think his reaction to a meaningless video game translates into the type of person he is on the football field.
  20. Jim is the man, but I still laugh when I remember him calling Quinn Early the "next Andre Reed" back in 96.
  21. Yeah, that was last year's Madden Bowl where he lost in the finals to Dwight Freeney. All that shows to me is McGahee hates to lose...a good attitude to have.
  22. Hey good for Freddie Mitchell...he went from being a completely forgetabble NFL bust to a trivia question NFL bust.
  23. Sadly, he lost to Philly's Michael Lewis in the finals, but apparently McGahee can really play a mean Madden game. I remember hearing over the offseason that he actually created the Bills playbook in his Madden 2005 game so he can practice with the plays when he's not on the field and just run through them. Who wouldnt want to steal that memory card, huh? Plus, here is a picture of Milloy and McGahee at the Madden Bowl tourny Too bad for Willis that next year he'll be somewhat distracted by his Madden Bowl duties since he'll be leading us deep into the playoffs Check out the whole Madden Bowl story on EASports.com
  24. I dont think you'll see Clements re-signed until training camp, much like Schobel last year. I think TD will see what he can do with free agents and the draft this year, not to mention after June 1st cuts...with the money he has left over, he'll get to work on Clements' contract.
  25. Makes Travis' value dip even lower since now teams can just sign the highly valued Jordan instead of trading with us. Sheesh, Edge...Shaun Alexander...Rudi Johnson...Lamont Jordon...not to mention the stud RBs in the draft, this is not a good year to trade Travis.
