  1. The Bills will undoubtedly sign another CB after teams finish their cuts, I just dont think they'll sign one during this first wave of cuts.
  2. I've got a very good friend who works at ESPN and if it makes you feel any better, everyone who works at ESPN hates Cowherd as well. I've been told on numerous occasions how unprofessional and difficult to work with Cowherd is. On the flip side of the coin...the nicest on-air personality? Nomar Garciaparra. Apparently a really awesome guy.
  3. Sounds like everyone is having a lot of fun at camp today too. Great stuff.
  4. Lindell wrote a goodbye letter to the fans, just posted on BB.com http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-2/Open-letter-to-Bills-Nation-from-Rian-Lindell/3280c0fb-3951-443a-bd59-dc8f84ab9139 Class. Act.
  5. The only substitution I'd make out of that list is keeping Edwards (at least for this cut cycle) and dumping Provo.
  6. Damn Math! Its real easy to predict though who the next few cuts are going to be.
  7. Another one bites the dust before the cut down day. Six more cuts to go!
  8. Curious to see how quickly the NFL comes down with a ruling on this. One would hope as soon as possible so the Bills can plan accordingly with or without him.
  9. I believe it does if its not alcohol related (ie, if its drug related).
  10. I was a manger at Best Buy when that game happened, I was having people give me live updates over the radio since I was stuck on the floor during a busy Sunday. Right before Lindell got ready to make the kick, one of the other managers got on the radio and started giving me a play-by-play and, as a joke, ended it with Lindell missing the kick. He totally got me.
  11. We had to free up some money somehow to sign Aaron Maybin.
  12. Big thanks to Lindell for his years of service...always a professional with us. Looking forward to many game-winning field goals from Hopkins!
  13. Please. We all know tomorrow the Bills are going to sign JaMarcus Russell to be their QB of the future now that Manuel's NFL career is over.
  14. If everyone wants to back off the ledge, here is video of John Clayton explaining the situation and how its a drainage procedure. Even shrugs off the mere suggestion EJ would miss any regular season time over this. The only thing that Clayton suggests is this gives Kolb more time to "catch up" and claim the starting job in the last two preseason games, uncontested. Which we all know is very unlikely. http://espn.go.com/nfl/trainingcamp13/story/_/id/9576953/buffalo-bills-ej-manuel-remainder-preseason-knee Everyone cool now? No? Okay. Back to your regularly scheduled insanity.
  15. If its just a drainage procedure he'll be ready by Week One.
  16. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-2/Preseason-ends-abruptly-for-EJ-Manuel/21bdcdea-8518-4a71-a3eb-a89f5290f3e6?campaign=tw_buf_article According to this article just posted on BB.com, the "procedure" was already done.
  17. Well Mr. Pettine, let's see if your shiny new Defense can steal a game for us in Week One.
  18. I had to laugh at NFL.com's "piling on" report where they mentioned Manuel getting hurt and "to make matters worse, WR Kevin Elliot tore his ACL and is out for the season". *Gasp* Not our 8th string WR! However will we replace his zero production?
  19. That was my first thought as well, especially since the official report mentioned he had some swelling this morning. I tore my meniscus at work and went the entire day without really any problem but the morning after it was pretty gross and swollen. I had an arthro procedure done later that week and felt everything was back to normal in about a month. Its not given me a problem since. Hopefully (if this is what happened) EJ recovers even faster.
  20. No need to push Mario, let him rest up. We know what he can do. A little nervous about Robey getting the start, a guy like Patterson could eat him right up.
