  1. Wow. I remember playing a little league game in the Rubber Bowl many moons ago. We may have even won.
  2. It's supposed to be funny.....right?
  3. You're good, dib. Have @ it.
  4. Didn't he get inducted the same year as Thurm? I dunno; we left the ceremony early.
  5. Those years, plus the years where the illuminata contracted the inner circle to hire the cigarette smoking man to give Elway assistance from the grassy knoll.
  6. Nah, don't get off the soapbox. Go on and give the good folks their topics for discussion today.
  7. Right 'round the time that the play on the Miami head coach's name stopped becoming so hysterical.
  8. Sigh. This is going to be like the issue my wife and I have w/ our 2nd date; we'll never agree. Though I would put them @ 1 (Unitas) and 1a (Graham). But, I see I'd be off a bit after that (going by your list), as I'd have Elway next. Yep, even before Montana.
  9. Oh, so you're trying to be exactly like the current Bills regime, are you?
  10. No! I won't take your stats, and I don't agree w/ your statements! All is well!!!!!
  11. Well, they did have a couple of other fairly decent QBs in Cleveland in (former league MVP) Brian Sipe and (Hall of Famer) Otto Graham.
  12. It's fun to do, I guess, but I really don't care 'bout that stuff. I do care 'bout the team I've rooted for going on 3 decades now possibly being not one iota improved over the past 2 seasons. The O line is having problems moving people off the ball. The D line gets little to no rush. The tight end is missing. The wide receivers get open occasionally, and drop passes when they do find themselves open. Injuries are hitting the core of the team, and a team that was once known for its tenacity and grit, not to mention its toughness in bone chilling weather, looks somewhat disinterested out there @ times. Maybe this stuff will go away in another 3 years (which I guess will put us @ 12 years out of the postseason?), or maybe it will only get worse. They can solve the problems, but it's going to take more than "we just gotta make plays"; it's going to take a serious committment to upgrading the pass rush and the interior O line for starters.
  13. Good comparison. After all... They've got Kevin Mawae, we've got Melvin Fowler/Duke Preston They've got Albert Haynesworth and Tony Brown, we've got Marcus Stroud and Kyle Williams They've got Kyle Vanden Bosch and Jevon Kearse, we've got Chris Kelsay/Ryan Denney and Aaron Schobel They've got Alge Crumpler, we've got Robert Royal The difference? Coaching.
  14. Ralph's not a player. He just crushes a lot.
  15. I think I remember seeing a show on A&E where they touched on this. What a monster.
  16. Great idea!
  17. A badly needed rookie cap, in my estimation.
  18. That is excellent news. Unlike the Browns, the Rooneys show that a family run team can not only be successful, but profitable.
  19. Hmm....there's some interesting options being mentioned here.
  20. A very happy Veterans Day to all those who are serving or who have served in the armed forces. SrA R. Rich Information Mgr Marienfelde Operations 690th Electronic Security Wing Electronic Security Command Tempelhof Central Airport-Berlin, Germany (88-90) United States Air Force
  21. Okay, now that I've taken control of the team as the new owner/president/overlord, things will improve. Maybe. I have hired KRC as the new GM. We have our own ideas for coaches, but if you would like to campaign for the job or can recommend a deserving TBDer for the job, let us know. Also, feel free to list any candidates you feel would be good for the coordinator jobs and position coaching jobs.
  22. Hold on a minute: Fowler can't anchor? Really?
