  1. It's powerful (160 proof), but I've tasted better. I tried it for the first time when I was stationed in Berlin back in '90. I bought a small bottle, and poured a capful as a shot. That was all it took.
  2. Yeah, but it doesn't read as clever as the "UT players suck" take does.
  3. Great, Gerry. Way to bring back that painful old memory. Psycho Ward 86, myself, and a friend of mine were in attendance when we got to see Terrell Davis get a ridiculous 40 rushing attempts. Meanwhile, Antowain Smith was getting over 6 yards a pop and only got like 18 carries on the day. Still, it was beautiful to see that 55 yard FG from Christie go just over the crossbar to force overtime. That was when I sat in the endzone on the Jumbotron side.
  4. Trade up for Bradford, "if you have to"? Considering he's the Hypeman Trophy winner and could possibly end up w/ a national title to go along w/ it, I'd say it is a safe bet that the Bills would have to move up from the 11th spot to draft him. Which brings us to another point: since we have more pressing issues @ OLB and DE, why the heck would we not only draft a QB early, but trade up and lose valuable players/picks to do so? Seems like a major step backwards for a franchise that needs all the help it can get. If anything, they should trade down to acquire more picks, not lose the ones they have.
  5. He's no sleeper any more. Many people, including the GMs that would (if Houston doesn't re-sign him) line up to bid for his services, know what he's 'bout.
  6. No wine for mead 'til I get more stromboli. Yeah, but it sure made the road trip fun.
  7. Nah. Bucky Brooks.
  8. To finish in 5th place again.
  9. 7 (# of wins each of the last 3 seasons) and 9 (# of years Bills have missed the postseason)
  10. Next year will be my year. I just know it.
  11. Nothing is confirmed yet, but he's shot up draft boards and, in most likelihood, will be the top pass rusher selected if he decides to come out early. I selfishly, as a PENN STATE fan, would like to see him return to school (especially since he really backed into the starting role and could use more seasoning), but if he's that hot a commodity, then I wish him well if he gives the pros a shot.
  12. You don't find them oh so clever?
  13. Use the 'edit' function on your initial post in the thread. Make sure you do a "full edit" as opposed to a "quick edit".
  14. I'm sure they were able to do it on Friday.
  15. Kinda like Kirwan and Ryan did on Sirius. They think firing Jauron would be a bad move. Yeah, me too. Only 3 more years...
  16. Injured. Jake Long, Kendall Langford, - Jason Taylor Not only management and coaching. See above.
  17. That may be why they shoot for FGs.
  18. William, you know you're one of my favorite posters here on the Wall. Thing is, in regard to this issue, you offer up no solutions in terms of who you think they should draft; all you do is criticize the team for drafting first round D backs. Like you, I wish they'd go after a stud player up front or two, but that hasn't worked out to be the case. So be it. We'll just have to agonize through the process yet again, unless the team realizes they need to do something up front to solidify themselves. Now, if we come out of Round 1 w/ a stud pass rusher or stud O lineman, maybe then we'll hear the end of this D back bickering. Then again, if we do draft the next Derrick Harvey (how's that working out, Jags?) or Winston Justice (Philly's still waiting...), then what?
  19. In theory, the score would've been tied 3-3 had we made a FG then. My issue is w/ the general strategy to play for a FIELD GOAL instead of actually trying to.....I dunno.......score a touchdown instead. Yeah, yeah, I know; that's loser talk.
