  1. By the way, any word on DeMulling?
  2. What's with this optimism? We haven't signed anyone. This offseason is a big failure. I'm not renewing my season tickets. Come to think of it, these problems weren't as much of a factor until we lost that game to the Steelers. My wife is a Steelers fan........it must be her fault! Yeah, that's it. She's outta here! Who's next?
  3. I hear that the Niners are interested in dealing the top pick to San Diego to acquire Philip Rivers. Anyone else hear this one?
  4. Now you've done it.
  5. There's solid depth in certain spots, but not in others. For instance, there's a good crop of centers and guards in this draft, but the tackles are very weak.
  6. More than likely, Adam, they will. He already has a library named after him at PSU.
  7. Damn. That's a big burger. Now, if Wendy's starts selling fried chicken that looks like it came from Balco, then we're in trouble.
  8. 1. Bledsoe's numbers weren't all that bad, not nearly as bad as what people make of them. 2. Bledsoe sucks and was a choke artist that dragged the team down into the abyss. There you go, one for each side. Pick one.
  9. If Dallas doesn't take him, I could see one of the 3-4 teams (remember, Miami and Cleveland are switching to a 3-4 defense this year too) taking him. Pittsburgh has kept their LB corps stocked over the years by drafting undersized DEs and moving them to OLB.
  10. Really? They're interested in Nugent? Awesome! That's the one thing missing from last year that would've taken us to the NFL title: a good kicker. C'mon Donahoe, hurry up and get this deal done! Any news on the deal? Oh please, let this deal happen. Anything yet?
  11. Speaking of the Pistons, did anyone hear about this? Pretty messed up, isn't it?
  12. Good post. I thought that Redskins team was the best team I've seen except for the 1985 Bears. The two middle ones were our worst ones by far. The first and the fourth Super Bowl games were games I feel we should have won.
  13. Did she beat you? That's child abuse. You can't hit kids. Time outs work just as well.
  14. Yeah, sure. Take out all the guys on 'roids, like Kent Hull (hey, Haslett said so!), and I'll bet that list is a lot shorter.
  15. Sorry. Can't make it. You know what to do, Rock.
  16. Please do. Sounds like something I'd like to try.
  17. That song isn't as catchy as Man in Constant Sorrow. I love how when that song came on at the end of the movie, how Clooney jumped up to the stage and got into it. I also thought that little Wizard of Oz like song the Klansmen were singing before their meeting was catchy. I'll have to use that at my next rally...
  18. You catch on quick.
  19. Another spinach lover, eh? Hey, it's great stuff. Plus, it can be prepared a lot of different ways. When I was in NYC on my birthday, I had a salad w/spinach and scallops (another of my favorite foods) with balsamic vinegar dressing. It was tasty!
  20. I don't know a whole lot about ordering food online, other than stuff like Omaha Steaks, which we've done once before. That's good stuff, but too pricey. My Mother had some buffalo burgers ordered from a place she discovered while in Denver one time, but I can't think of the name of it. As far as stuff around the Baltimore area, I find out a lot of it from co-workers and friends I have here. That's how I found out about G&M. A lady I work with loves their crabcakes and recommended them to my wife and I. We tried them, and they really are the best ones I've had in Baltimore. They're not only very good, but they're HUGE and not too pricey.
  21. What's a garbage plate?
  22. Nice avatar, Lew. I'm no expert, but I think the beef on a weck at Danny's South and at Duff's are both great.
  23. The insurance company posse slots are all filled up, but I hear there's openings in the "Crash (a thread) To Bash (the insurance company) Posse".
