  1. Not bad. I think Terry is a pretty good prospect at tackle and is probably on the Bills' short list of candidates. Tuck, if he lasts to this pick, would be a nice addition as a pass rusher. It's been a long time since we've had a pass rush specialist (since the days of Jim Jeffcoat) and maybe he'd eventually develop into a starter. Jason Brown's mobility is a concern (he's slow as molasses), but that notwithstanding, he's still a highly rated prospect at C in this draft. Some have him as high as 2nd. If he lasts until our pick in the 3rd, we'd be wise to draft him. I had him drafted in one of my early scenarios. As for the others, I like Dustin Fox and think he'd be a steal in the 5th. He could become a solid player at either safety (more likely) or corner. Travis Daniels is okay, but nothing special, still in the 7th it would be a good pick. I'm no big fan of Tyler Jones: I'd rather see the kid from Minnesota, Rhys Lloyd, drafted late.
  2. Now that's a law firm I have much to fear from.
  3. Happy birthday.
  4. Excellent idea. Bitching about ideas always works.
  5. Nah. We'd better make sure we get "our guy". I wonder what the Dolphins would want to trade up to the #2 spot? Hmmm. Maybe they'll accept our 2nd and Travis Henry. I just hope the Niners don't draft Nugent w/ the top pick.
  6. I agree.
  7. Just as long as the cat takes proper care of itself. Nobody wants a big sloppy kitty.
  8. We need to draft a kicker. Don't you realize that? Sure, we had our troubles w/ the interior OL and our pass rush could use a little something extra, and we could use a little more depth in the secondary and/or LB, and we could use a good DL, but getting a kicker is our top priority. Nugent may become the next Vinatieri, Akers, or Vanderjagt, so we must draft him early.
  9. I thought the boyfriend was for the carpet......uh........cleaning.
  10. Okay, let's go. Ken is buying.
  11. I've been to the Dave and Busters near DC. It's not that bad. No pool tables? Damn, that sucks.
  12. Yup! I'd say DJ also. Then again, we could use a couple kickers...
  13. Been there, done that when it comes to that rhetoric. Yeah, all federal employees are lazy blah blah blah...
  14. Two RBs that early? That's ridiculous! We all know they're going to draft 4 kickers.
  15. Joe will say it first.
  16. Travis says Phillie's run for $1500 now? Damn! Good thing I don't partake.
  17. Agreed. There's also some really good Star Wars books out there too. The books by Timothy Zahn ("Dark Force Rising" series) are exceptional. I also think Allan Dean Foster's "Splinter of the Mind's Eye" is a good read.
  18. That would be the key word, in terms of Ware lasting until the 55th pick in the draft: imagine. I highly doubt he'll be there for us. Like I said, teams like Houston and Dallas will be interested in him and he could be gone by the middle of round one.
  19. And by "blow", he means...
  20. I have no job. I panhandle for change daily.
  21. I'm reading the book now, and it's interesting to see how Palpatine really screws w/ everyone's heads. Man, did he do a number on people, good (Anakin, Obi Wan, Mace Windu) and bad (Dooku).
  22. Nice to hear from you again, Lori. I'm dying to know your thoughts of PSU's recruiting class.
  23. You can always teach, Chris. There's no age limit there, which is one reason why I don't worry about NOT having my degree/teaching certificate now, at age 36.
