  1. Kinda self explanatory, isn't it?
  2. Did Jimmy Durante send you there?
  3. Nah. Leinart's cannon arm and 3.6 40 speed will allow him to avoid the pass rush.
  4. Ah, but a good, speedy 5-7, 150lb wideout would provide even more sparks. There's gotta be a solid 8th grader that we can get in the first round, right?
  5. You were our MVPs, that's for sure. The race was pretty boring until the end of the game; that's when you all picked up the efforts. Thanks, as the 'spectacle' on the field needed all the comedic help it could get. Here's how it ended up: 2nd runnerup: some guy in my section had a sign saying "Circle The Wagons" on one side and "I Still Billieve" on the other.......except around the "I Still Billieve" there was "Fire Tom" and "Fire Donahoe" written around it 1st runnerup: the guy who ran on the field; not only did he make me laugh, but the booth made it even funnier by playing that Vonage theme song while he was doing that Winner: The Bags! As my brother and I were leaving, we spot a couple of guys wearing bags over their heads just standing there: one said "Thanks Tom" while the other said "Thanks Donahoe" I have pictures of all 3. I will post them as soon as possible.
  6. Well, you know what to look for now. If you get more of the "we're gonna be a smash mouth football team" rhetoric next season, even if they make a coaching change, don't expect much. I still wonder if Ralph will make any changes @ all. It's awfully tough to fire a guy when over 70,000 people still come to the games even when you stink. Let's just hope some change will happen, whether the current regime stays and changes their philosophy or a new one arrives w/ the right philosophy for our team.
  7. Matthew, we've been waiting a long time for such a move. Thanks.
  8. Yeah, but you also weren't acting like jacka**es and spoiling the game for the people around you. Well, you weren't doing any of that when I met up w/ you.
  9. We have a winner!
  10. But.....but........he sucks. He's too old and out of shape.
  11. Actually I'm dreaming of a white Christmas...
  12. It's more of a testament to the NFL's beloved parity than anything. Remember, a couple of years ago, the AFC East was widely regarded as the best division in football.
  13. Possibly. Before the game, I was @ a party thrown by some friends of mine who live near Danny's South. I tried to catch up w/ the folks from Lot 1 after the game, but nobody was there when I showed up. I guess I got there a little early and they were still on their way.
  14. Glad you had a good time. Sorry I missed ya again. I guess we're destined just to meet @ M&T Stadium right before game time, huh?
  15. Posey is not 'junk'. He's a decent outside linebacker for a 3-4 defense that was switched to being a strong side LB in a 4-3, one who was also used a lot more in coverage than you'd expect a strong side LB to be.
  16. It did work in Buffalo for the 19 years we ran the 3-4, but we simply don't have the personnel right now in the interior to make it effective. I do think a guy like Denney may be a better fit in a 3-4, but we have nothing even remotely resembling a quality NT on our roster. We'd need @ least 2 of those, plus we'd need to get some bigger, more physical DEs that can handle double teams. Trust me, that ain't Schobel or Kelsay.
  17. Colin, Take everything in my last post, extract the sarcasm, then serve over penne.
  18. What's wrong w/ Haslett? He's done a solid job of coaching the Saints in the postseason, he has complete control over his team, and there's never any late season drama in New Orleans.
  19. I know. This is false advertising, Cindy.
  20. I've got a good inside tip on this one. Take it to the bank, folks.
  21. Mmmm..........barbeque!!!
  22. Sounds more like Tom Madden than Tom Donahoe.
  23. Much like the season.
